State sintonizzati!

Anatomia dell’Unghia / Nail Anatomy
CND World
Many Thanks

Anatomia dell'Unghia - Nail Anatomy

Matrix: responsible for nail growth.
Eponychium: living and thick skin tissue in the base of the nail, it is red if it was made a too aggressive treatment and if it is damaged due to inflammation.
Cuticle: keratinized non-living thin membrane, that surrounds the nail and the eponychium and helps to protect the nail. In situations of “danger” (for example, nail biting) it is produced in greater quantities to reduce the risk of possible infections. if you do not want to have long and unsightly cuticles, the best way is to take gently care of your nails, without being aggressive, and not to bite or tear them!
Lunula: whitish half-moon in the base of the nail.
Hyponychium: the skin that seals the end of the nail.
Nail Plate or “Body of Nail”: body of nail made mostly of keratin.
Nail Bed: the skin underneath the nail plate.
Free Margin: the margin of the nail that stands out from the Nail Bed.

The first step to have beautiful nails is taking care of them.
If you usually bite your nails and they look ugly, do not despair! Kick the habit and start to take gently care of them (in the next article we will talk about Colour & Effect Fashion Manicure) and you will get good results in no time, after just three months.

Why do fingernails grow faster than toenails? Why do they grow faster in summer?
Because growth is determined both by the light and by the solicitations, the fingernails are obviously more stimulated than toenails. A little curiosity: the nail that grows faster than the others is the thumb nail.

    Quindi, ricostruzione unica speranza T__T

  • Laura said:

    @Muriomu
