In these works Junko Mizuno depicts the food obsession as a metaphor of lust for power and sexual desire, the set is a universe made of rainbows of bacon where we find the unique, sensual and mysterious goddesses of the artist surrounded by inextinguishable flames that will never consume them and devoted small minions.

The wonderful works made by Junko Mizuno in their uniqueness also reveal fascinating past references ranging from Aubrey Beardsley, illustrator of the late 8th century in turn strongly influenced by the Japanese art, the American illustrator Eric Stanton that in the 60s used to draw female-dominant bondage fetish comic books and of course Shojo manga with a horror and gothic twist.
