Ant-Man è un film diretto da Peyton Reed e fa parte del Marvel Cinematic Universe, l’ultimo della “Fase 2″, che si colloca temporalmente dopo gli eventi di “Avengers: Age of Ultron” e vede come protagonisti Scott Lang e Henry “Hank” Pym, personaggi dell’omonimo fumetto Marvel.
In Italia verrà distribuito il 12 agosto, negli USA il 17 luglio, abbiamo avuto la fortuna di vederlo in anteprima e vi parleremo delle nostre impressioni.

Ant-Man is a movie directed by Peyton Reed and is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the last of the “Phase 2″, which happens several months after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron. The protagonists are Scott Lang and Henry “Hank” Pym, characters of the eponymous Marvel comic.
In Italy it will be released on August 12, in the US on July 17, we were invited to watch a preview and here is our review.

Trama / Plot

Henry “Hank” Pym è uno scienziato geniale che ha tenuto nascosta per il bene dell’umanità la sua più grande scoperta: rimpicciolire gli esser umani accrescendone la forza. Quando si accorge che il suo ex assistente sta riuscendo a sviluppare la sua stessa tecnologia con applicazioni militari, cerca un candidato intelligente, agile e onesto disposto a indossare la sua vecchia tuta di Ant-Man per sventare questa minaccia.

Henry “Hank” Pym is a brilliant scientist who hid his greatest discovery for the good of humanity: decreasing in size a human being increasing in strength. When he finds out that his former assistant is managing to develop his own technology with military applications, he looks for a smart, agile and honest candidate to wear his old ant-man suit to save the world.

Commento / Review

Ant-Man, come tutti i film Marvel, ha due poli, uno positivo e uno negativo che si contrappongono: una parte oscura, un passato che urla rivincita (di Scott Lang) e redenzione (di Henry “Hank” Pym) e un lato leggero dato dalla esuberate personalità di Scott Lang.
Le quasi due ore di proiezione volano grazie alle irresistibili battute di Scott e agli intensi momenti di azione che vi terranno incollati alla poltrona.
Le scene con Ant-Man in missione aiutato dalle sue compagne formiche vi stupiranno per gli effetti speciali e chi ama le connessioni tra un film e l’altro troverà una scena nella nuova sede degli Avengers.

Ant-Man, like all Marvel films, has two contrasting poles, one positive and one negative: a dark side, a past that wants revenge (Scott Lang’s one) and redemption (Henry “Hank” Pym’s one) and a light side thanks to Scott Lang’s personality.
The running time is almost two hours but it’s very enjoyable thanks to the irresistible jokes said by Scott and the intense action moments that will keep you glued to the seat.
The scenes with Ant-Man on the mission helped by his ant-friends will amaze you with special effects and those who love the connections between the movie of the Marvel Universe will find a scene in one of the Avengers headquarters.
