Il 14 settembre è finalmente uscito anche nei cinema italiani Cars 3, il terzo capitolo della serie di animazione diretto da Brian Fee, prodotto da Disney Pixar e distribuito da Walt Disney Pictures.
Saetta McQueen è come al solito doppiato da Massimiliano Manfredi (nell’originale da Owen Wilson), mentre i doppiatori di eccezione sono Marco Della Noce per Luigi, Alex Zanardi per Guido, Gianfranco Mazzoni per Bob Cutlass e Ivan Capelli per Darrell Cartrip.
Il film già stato rilasciato in altri Paesi a giugno e ha raggiunto un incasso di oltre $350 milioni.

Cars 3, the third episode of the animated saga directed by Brian Fee, produced by Disney Pixar and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, was finally released in Italian Theatres on September 14.
The Italian dubbers are Massimiliano Manfredi for Saetta McQueen (Owen Wilson in the original version) and the well-known Marco Della Noce for Luigi, Alex Zanardi for Guido, Gianfranco Mazzoni for Bob Cutlass and Ivan Capelli for Darrell Cartrip.
The film was released on June 16 in the other countries and has grossed $350 million worldwide.

• Trama / Plot

Saetta McQueen, dopo anni di vittorie e successi, deve confrontarsi con le automobili da corsa di nuova generazione, ipertecnologiche e forgiate da allenamenti all’avanguardia. Dopo un periodo di pausa forzata Saetta cercherà di tornare in pista vincente ripercorrendo la strada del suo mentore Hudson Hornet e aiutato dalla giovane coach Cruz Ramirez.
La nuova strada di Saetta lo porterà a iniziare una nuova emozionante avventura.

Saetta McQueen, after years of successes and wins, has to deal with the next-generation and hyper-technological racing cars. After a forced break Saetta will try to make a comeback by following in Hudson Hornet’s footsteps and assisted by the young coach Cruz Ramirez.
Saetta’s new road will take him to a new thrilling adventure.

• Commento / Review

Cars 3 è forse il capitolo più emotivo della saga, perché vede Saetta vivere in prima persona la sofferenza che aveva colpito il suo mentore, Hudson Hornet, e che l’aveva portato a terminare la sua carriera automobilistica.
Seguiamo Saetta in un viaggio che lo porterà a comprendere i suoi limiti e ad affrontarli, sempre più consapevole che la più grande ricchezza è negli amici veri, vecchi e nuovi, che condividono gioie e momenti di sconforto.
Divertentissimo il Demolition Derby con la mitica Miss Fritter e anche il dolcissimo cortometraggio Disney•Pixar “Lou”, che precede il film, diretto da Dave Mullins e prodotto da Dana Murray.

Cars 3 is perhaps the most emotional chapter in the saga, because Saetta traces firsthand the suffering of his mentor, Hudson Hornet, which led him to end his career.
We follow Saetta on a journey that will bring him to understand his limits and to face them, ever more aware that the most important thing is to have friends, old and new ones, who share joy and pain.
The Demolition Derby with the funny Miss Fritter is a great moment in the movie as well as and the cute Disney•Pixar short Lou, which precedes the film, directed by Dave Mullins and produced by Dana Murray.
