Première

Il 18 febbraio abbiamo avuto l’onore di partecipare alla Première a Milano, dove hanno calcato il blue carpet il regista Kenneth Branagh e i protagonisti del film Lily James Cenerentola e Richard Madden il Principe (nonchè il famoso Robb Stark di Game of Throne), oltre a numerosi vip nostrani come Arisa, Belen Rodriguez, Valerio Staffelli, Alessia Fabiani e Fiammetta Cicogna.
Con grande sorpresa prima della proiezione hanno fatto un discorso introduttivo Daniel Frigo, presidente di The Walt Disney Company Italia, che ci ha presentato MediCinema organizzazione no profit con l’obiettivo di utilizzare il cinema a scopo terapeutico negli ospedali italiani che Disney supporta, e Kenneth Branagh che ci ha raccontato del suo amore per l’Italia e presentato i due protagonisti.
A far sognare le bimbe di tutte le età anche la scarpetta di cristallo esposta in una teca all’ingresso.
Una serata magica!
Cinderella uscirà in Italia il 12 Marzo.

On February 18 we had the pleasure to attend the Première in Milan, where on the blue carpet we could see the director Kenneth Branagh and the main actors Lily James aka Cinderella and Richard Madden aka the Prince (as well as the famous Robb Stark in Game of Throne), in addition to many Italian Celebrities as Arisa, Belen Rodriguez, Valerio Staffelli, Alessia Fabiani and Fiammetta Cicogna.
Before the showing, Daniel Frigo, chairman of The Walt Disney Company Italy, made a introductory speech presenting Medicinema a non-profit organization that shows movies for therapeutic purposes in Italian hospitals and Disney obviously supports it, then Kenneth Branagh told us his love for Italy and presented the two protagonists.
To make the girls of all ages dream there was also a crystal slipper in a glass case at the entrance.
A magical night!
Cinderella will be released on March 12.

Trama / Plot

Ella è una ragazza che ha perso entrambi i genitori, nonostante le difficoltà che la vita le ha imposto cerca di mantenere fede alla promessa fatta a sua mamma in punto di morte: essere gentile e avere coraggio.
Riuscirà a rimanere innocente e a trovare il vero amore nonostante la malvagità della matrigna e delle sorellastre? Non vi resta che guardare il film!

Elle is a girl who has lost both parents and despite the difficulties in life she tries to keep the promise made to her mother at death: to be kind and brave.
Will she lose her innocence? Will she find true love despite the evil stepmother and stepsisters? You just have to watch the movie!

Commento / Review

Ci aspettavamo qualche colpo di scena e stravolgimento dei personaggi in stile Maleficent, invece Cenerentola è una rivisitazione abbastanza fedele del classico film Disney del 1950, con un’interessante approfondimento del carattere di alcuni personaggi che nel cartone animato restano abbastanza nebulosi, come i genitori di Cenerentola e il principe.
È un film che sicuramente consiglieremmo di vedere a tutte le bambine, che insegna a lottare per mantenere la propria integrità e non cambiare (in peggio), nonostante gli ostacoli che si incontrano durante il percorso e nonostante ci sia chi cerca di macchiare la nostra innocenza.
Spettacolari le scenografie e i costumi. Abbiamo adorato la breve, ma intensa, interpretazione di Helena Bonham Carter nei panni della fata madrina.

We expected some twist on the characters as it happened in Maleficent, instead Cinderella is close to the classic Disney film of 1950, with an interesting study of the characters that in the animated movie aren’t deep, like the parents of Cinderella and the Prince.
We definitely recommend it to the girls, because it teaches to fight not to change (for the worse) despite the difficulties in life and even if there are those who try to tarnish the innocence of our soul.
Sets and costumes are spectacular. We love the short but intense portrayal of Helena Bonham Carter as Fairy godmother.
