Coi ricordi torno ai tempi della mia infanzia…
Adoravo i palloncini gonfiati con l’elio. C’erano il classico palloncino, quello a forma di bruco e il mio preferito: quello a forma di coniglietto. La cosa che però mi rattristava era la vita breve di questi poveri palloncini colorati. Bastava una svista perchè prendessero il volo e scappassero dalle mie manine, ma ancor più triste, era svegliarsi la mattina e trovare il palloncino sempre più sgonfio, come se avesse perso le sue ali.
I remember my childhood…
I used to love helium-filled balloons. There were the classic balloon, the caterpillar-shaped one and my favorite: the bunny-shaped. The short life of these poor colored balloons made me sad. They could fly away from my hands because of carelessness or when I wake up in the mornig I found them more deflated, as if they had lost their wings.

Clémentine Henrion is a French designer (1980 - Paris, France) who loves advertising, fashion and events, and she must have thought of this when she has made Helium Eternal balloons.
Helium Eternal sculptures are made of fabric and they have kawaii, dreamy and childish shapes.

Illustrare il piccolo momento di vuoto, di pienezza, di delusione, il momento in cui tutti si riconoscono, dove ognuno sente anche dentro di lui questa piccola stretta al cuore, queste lacrime in aumento, questo groppo in gola che spezza la voce. Questa nostalgia, questa malinconia, o questa gioia immensa in pieno viso, le narici immerse nella dolcezza del polline così giovane, il dolce profumo di marshmallow dei giardini pubblici, l’odore entra come una mancanza di respiro, spinto da una brezza della sera che trascina delicatamente.
I want to illustrate the moment of emptiness, fullness, disappointment, the moment when people recognize each other, when everyone feels inside this little heartache, these tears rising, this lump in his throat that breaks the voice. This nostalgia, this melancholy, or this great joy in the face. Nostrils are immersed in the sweetness of young pollen, the sweet scent of marshmallow in the public gardens, the smell comes as a lack of breath, blown by an evening breeze which sweeps gently.

Sembrano i classici palloncini gonfiati con elio, ma in realtà sono realizzati in tessuto e, come se fossero dei cuscini, sono riempiti con il kapok (la fibra naturale più leggera del mondo). Eppure sembrano galleggiare in aria perchè, tramite un filo trasparente, vengono ancorati al soffitto!
They look like classic helium-filled balloons, but they are made of fabric and are filled with kapok (the lightest natural fiber in the world). They seem to float in the air thanks to a transparent thread attached to ceiling!

I palloncini Helium Eternal sono realizzati a mano in edizione limitata: sono delle vere e proprie opere d’arte che uniscono design, illustrazione e scenografia. Hanno colori e forme kawaii, come arcobaleni, nuvole, cuori, caramelle, pappagalli e iceberg, ma Clémentine Henrion realizza anche personalizzazioni su richiesta.
Helium Eternal balloons are handmade in limited edition: they are real works of art that combine design, illustration and scenography. They have kawaii colors and shapes, such as rainbows, clouds, hearts, candies, parrots and icebergs, but Clémentine Henrion accepts also customized requests.

La prima serie è stata lanciata nel 2009 e i suoi bellissimi pallocini continuano a riscuotere successo negli allestimenti delle vetrine, dei musei, delle pubblicità e nelle case dei fortunati che se li possono permettere (un pallocino costa più di 200€…)… ecco i palloncini per gli adulti!
The first series was launched in 2009 and these beautiful balloons are often used in shop windows, museums, advertising and those who can afford them (a balloon costs more than € 200 …) can decore a room… here are balloons made for adults!
