“Green Blood” è il titolo della mostra ospitata dalla Dorothy Circus Gallery, a Roma dal 14 Giugno al 20 Luglio 2012.
Fanno parte di questa mostra un gruppo di artisti neo surrealisti che hanno realizzato appositamente un’opera inedita di tematica ambientale, e che offriranno il loro contributo non solo sensibilizzando i visitatori con i loro lavori, ma anche in modo tangibile, infatti il 50% del ricavato delle vendite verrà devoluto all’Associazione Greenpeace.

“Green Blood” is the title of the exhibition housed in the Dorothy Circus Gallery in Rome, from June the 14th to July the 20th, 2012.
A group of neo surrealist artists take part of this show, they created a new artwork specifically about this environmental theme and they offer their contribution not only raising awareness thanks to their atrworks, but also in a tangible way, in fact 50% of the proceeds from sales will be donated to Greenpeace.

“Avere la possibilità di collaborare a questa idea e unire le forze per concetto di ‘Green Blood’ (’Sangue Verde’) della natura è un’opportunità molto speciale per noi in qualità di artisti. Mostrare con il fascino visivo quanto possa essere potente il contenuto e il messaggio all’interno delle nostre opere d’arte.
Sostenere il nostro pianeta e coloro che stanno lavorando per renderlo un posto migliore e più sicuro, e fare beneficenza a supporto di cause meravigliose. Queste sono le ragioni per cui sono così entusiasta di fare parte di questa mostra. Lo sento come un aspetto molto importante, anche una responsabilità dell’essere artista; avere una voce che parla positivamente al pubblico e metterla al servizio del pianeta per cause importanti. Sempre alla Dorothy Circus Gallery di Roma, dal 14 Giugno al 20 Luglio 2012, è possibile ammirare una personale dell’artista americano Scott Musgrove “Fame: I’m going to Live Forever”.
Anche in questa mostra vengono affrontate tematiche ambientali e possiamo vedere delle creature anomale che cercano di sconfiggere la transitorietà, rimanendo nella memoria collettiva dell’osservatore, sospese tra sogno e leggenda.
Con questa mostra, l’artista dirotta lo stesso pensiero verso il mondo animale e sottolinea l’importanza di questa realtà: rendere “famosa” una specie in via d’estinzione può effettivamente aiutarla a vivere per sempre.

You can also admire a solo artist exhibition at Dorothy Circus Gallery in Rome, from June the 14th to July the 20th, 2012: “Fame: I’m going to Live Forever” by the american artist Scott Musgrove.
In this exhibition the artist deals with the environmental theme too, we can see strange creatures who seek to defeat the transience, tring to stay in the memory of the observer, suspended between dream and legend.
With this show, the artist diverts this same thought towards the animal world and underlines the importance of this reality: making certain species “famous”, will actually help them to live forever.
