Il 26 ottobre siamo state invitate nella sede di Estée Lauder Italia di Milano per un confronto sul nuovo siero antimacchie della linea Idealist: Even Skintone Illuminator.
Ora, dopo un mese di test, siamo qui a raccontarvi cosa è emerso dalla tavola rotonda tenuta da Giovanna Poloni, direttrice delle relazioni esterne di Estée Lauder, e a dirvi le nostre personali impressioni.

On October 26 we were invited to the headquarters of Estée Lauder in Italy, in Milan, to talk about the new anti-stain serum of the Idealist line: Even Skintone Illuminator.
After a month of testing, we want to tell you what came out during the meeting held by Giovanna Poloni, Estée Lauder director of external relations, and our personal impressions.

The cosmetics company Estée Lauder is famous for the effectiveness of its serums. Who does not know Advanced Night Repair? In addition to this there are also Perfectionist and Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher.

Oltre alle rughe, sono proprio le macchie cutanee, gli arrossamenti e le discromie a far apparire una pelle più vecchia. Le cause possono essere molteplici: l’inquinamento, la scorretta esposizione al sole, l’acne, i brufoletti, e poi c’è chi è geneticamente più portato (che sfortuna!). Per rendere l’incarnato omogeneo usiamo correttori e fondotinta, ma il problema in questo modo non viene risolto alla radice.
Even Skintone Illuminator invece cerca di cancellare le discromie e a prevenirne la ricomparsa grazie alla presenza di elementi anti-ossidanti.

The skin looks older not only because of wrinkles, but also of skin stains, redness and discolorations. The causes are many: pollution, improper sun exposure, acne, pimples, and then people that are genetically more inclined (how unlucky!). We apply concealer and foundation to make skin even, but the problem is not resolved in this way.
Even Skintone Illuminator wants to remove discolorations and to prevent them from returning thanks to anti-oxidants elements.

Angela, dopo l’estate, aveva delle evidenti macchie solari sulla fronte che la obbligavano ad utilizzare tutti i giorni il fondotinta nel tentativo di nasconderle. Mentre stava cercando una soluzione, abbiamo avuto l’opportunità di poter testare questo nuovo prodotto.
Dopo le prime settimane non ha trovato dei miglioramenti evidenti, ma ora, dopo un mese di trattamento mattino e sera, non c’è dubbio: le macchie sono notevolmente diminuite, quasi sparite.

After the summer Angela had skin stains caused by sun on her forehead, so she used to apply foundation every day to hide them. While she was looking for a solution, we had the opportunity to try this new product.
After the first weeks she did not see clear improvements, but after a month of treatment in the morning and in the evening, there is no doubt: stains are reduced, almost gone.

Anche chi utilizza per la prima volta questo siero può apprezzare la sua texture composta da piccolissime particelle luminose che rende sin da subito il viso più omogeneo.
Un altro degli aspetti piacevoli di questo prodotto è la profumazione… al limone!
Uno dei suggerimenti che ci sono stati dati durante l’incontro, è quello di utilizzare più di un siero in base alle nostre esigenze: se per esempio avete discromie cutanee e volete proteggervi dai segni del tempo, si può utilizzare Even Skintone Illuminator la mattina e Advanced Night Repair la sera.

Even if you are using this serum for the first time you can appreciate its texture composed of tiny reflective particles that make the face more even.
Another nice aspect of this product is the fragrance… lemon-scented!
One of the suggestions given during the meeting is to use more than one serum according to our needs: for example, if you want to protect yourself from skin discoloration and signs of aging, you can use Even Skintone Illuminator in the morning and Advanced Night Repair in the evening.
