Ritorniamo a parlare di FairyGothMother, nell’ articolo precedente avevamo raccolto una carrellata di abiti da sera, baby-doll e negligée, invece qui mostreremo il loro punto di forza: la corsetteria e l’intimo.
I corsetti sono la croce e la delizia di ogni ragazza: imprigionano e costringono il corpo, le donne ci hanno messo secoli per liberarsene, eppure le linee che creano, l’immaginario che evocano e i sentimenti che suscitano sono sempre fonte di grande attrazione.

We talk about FairyGothMother again, in the previous article we collected some evening gowns, baby-dolls and negligées, instead here we’ll show their strong point: the corsetry and the underwear.
The corsets are bittersweet for every girl: they imprison and force the body, the women have freed themselves from it after centuries, but the lines, that corsets create, the imagery, that they evoke, and the feelings, that they arouse, are always a great attraction.

Nessuno ha scusanti perchè FairyGothMother presenta un assortimento vastissimo, ha praticamente tutte le taglie (dalla 36 alla 58) e ha modelli per chi si sta avvicinando da poco al mondo della corsetteria e per chi invece è già esperta.
Se poi stiamo parlando di corsetti kawaii non si può che cedere al fascino di questi indumenti e desiderarne uno, nonostante la scomodità!

Come per gli abiti anche i corsetti vengono realizzati in broccato, seta e raso e le stecche sono in acciaio.
Nel sito si può trovare anche un breve manuale per la cura dei corsetti e per indossarlo correttamente.

Consigli per la cura:

• Non lavare mai il proprio corsetto con acqua, ma sempre a secco, per non far arrugginire le stecche
• Si può lavare in superficie con un panno leggermente umido tra un lavaggio a secco e l’altro e si consiglia di fargli prendere aria ogni volta dopo averlo indossato

Care advice:

• Never wash your corset with water, dry clean only, or steel bones will rust
• You can wash the lining with a lightly damp cloth between a dry-cleaning and another, and you should air the corset by hanging it over after wearing

Come indossarlo:

• Non fare indossare ad altri il proprio corsetto, che si è perfettamente adattato alla propria forma e viene altrimenti sottoposto a stress
• Legare i lacci partendo dall’alto, lasciare l’eccedenza al centro e proseguire verso il basso
• Stringere il corsetto grazie all’eccedenza lasciata al centro e annodare dietro
• Non avvolgere mai i lacci attorno al corsetto

How to wear:

• Never let anyone wear your corset, which has taken perfectly your shape, otherwise it is subjected to stress
• Tie the laces from the top, creating loops halfway and then continue to bottom
• Tighten laces using the loops at the centre and tie back
• Do not wrap the excess around the corset
