Anche riciclare può essere fashion!
In occasione dell’Earth Day, l’anno scorso nell’articolo “Focus on: Earth Day and Inspirations” vi avevamo mostrato delle ispirazioni kawaii per riutilizzare e riciclare, oggi invece vedrete come carta e plastica possono diventare abiti e accessori meravigliosi.
Even recycling can be stylish!
We had talked about kawaii inspirations to reuse and recycle last year on Earth Day in the article “Focus on: Earth Day and Inspirations“, but we will show how paper and plastic can become beautiful clothes and accessories today.

Michael Michalsky è uno dei più famosi stilisti tedeschi. Ha creato, in collaborazione con il corriere DHL, una collezione speciale di alta moda usando… i packaging di DHL! Plastica e carta per imballare i pacchi e persino il rivestimento in plastica dei camion. Eppure, nonostante non siano materiali nobili, la collezione è elegantissima.
Michael Michalsky is one of the most famous designers in Germany. He has designed a special haute couture collection in collaboration with DHL using… DHL packaging! Plastic and paper to pack parcels and even the plastic truck cover. Even if they aren’t fine materials, the collection is very elegant.

Susan Stockwell è un’artista inglese, molto sensibile al tema dell’ecologia, che si dedica soprattutto alla scultura. Tra i suoi lavori spiccano meravigliosi abiti di carta che sembrano essere appartenuti alle cortigiane. Alcuni sono variopinti perchè sono stati realizzati usando le cartine geografiche o colorati col caffè!
Susan Stockwell is an English artist, she is very conscientious about environmental issues and she primarily makes sculptures. We love her wonderful paper dresses that seem to belong to a courtesan. Some are colorful because they were made using maps or dyed with coffee!

Sarah Louise Kelly è la designer inglese di gioielli creatrice del marchio Saloukee. I suoi gioielli non sono fatti di materiali preziosi, nè oro, nè tanto meno argento… sono di carta! Mediante numerose pieghe, ecco ricreate delle strutture che ricordano da un lato, le gorgiere del XVI secolo, e dall’altro, i corsetti vittoriani.
Sarah Louise Kelly is a British jewelry designer who owns the brand Saloukee. Her jewels aren’t made of precious materials, gold, silver… but of paper! She makes structures through folds that resemble sixteenth century ruffs on the one hand or Victorian corsets on the other hand.

Forse, più che veri abiti e accessori, sono delle opere d’arte che invitano lo spettatore al riciclo.
La raccolta differenziata aiuta il mondo in cui viviamo e aiuta noi stessi.
Perhaps they are more like artworks rather than real clothes and accessories, but prompt the viewer to recycle.
The separate collection of rubbish helps the world where we live and ourselves.
