Before the Massachusetts Mental Health Center was demolished in 2003, it was the set of an installation made by Anna Schuleit: 28,000 flowers covered the floor as a symbol of reflection and rebirth.

In sanscrito vedico “dān” significa colui che dona and “mālā” ghirlanda di fiori. I danmala sono il riflesso dell’inesprimibile, dell’abbondanza di vita, di un tacito verso di Amore.
In vedic sanskrit “dān” means the giver and “mālā” garland of flowers. Danmalas are reflections of the inexpressible, life’s abundance, an unspoken verse of Love.
