Oggi presentiamo una selezione di lavori della scultrice statunitense Forest Rogers, che porta in vita personaggi fantastici che sembrano appartenere ad un’epoca indefinita, suggestioni di un remoto futuro si intrecciano agli echi del passato e a ispirazioni mitologiche.
Today we present a selection of works of the American sculptress Rogers Forest, who brings to life fantastic characters that seem to live in a mysterious time, inspiration of a distant future are intertwined to the echoes of the past and mythological inspirations.

Forest Rogers proviene da una famiglia di artisti ed è cresciuta circondata da ispirazione e creatività, i mondi di Hieronymus Bosch le sembravano dei posti meravigliosi in cui abitare, ha lavorato per più di 25 anni al Carnegie Museum of Natural History di Pittsburgh, scolpendo i dinosauri in team con i paleontologi, affinando le sue tecniche sempre di più.
La sua recente scultura “The Morrigan”, ispirata al mito celtico, ha vinto numerosi premi (Spectrum, IBA & Chesley awards).
Forest Rogers grew up in a family of artists and surrounded by inspiration and creativity, the Hieronymus Bosch worlds seemed to her wonderful places where to live, she worked for more than 25 years at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh, sculpting dinosaurs in team with paleontologists, refining her technical skills more and more.
Her recent sculpture ‘The Morrigan’, inspired by the Celtic myth, has won many awards (Spectrum, IBA & amp; Chesley awards).

Le sculture di questa straordinaria artista sono realizzate spesso con tecnica mista, si possono notare molto facilmente dei dettagli creati con materiali flessibili nella costante ricerca di conferire alle opere senso di movimento e donare un’eterea leggerezza che le ricopre di mistero e solennità, scaldata dai tenui toni pastello.
Tra le sue creazioni troviamo anche delle citazioni veneziane e dei graziosi richiami alla Francia del diciottesimo secolo, come non amarle?
The sculptures of this amazing artist are often made with mixed technique, you can see very easily the details created with flexible materials, constantly trying to create a sense of motion and to give an ethereal weightlessness that surround them of mystery and solemnity, warmed by soft pastel tones.
Among her creations we also can find some Venetian inspirations and graceful references to the eighteenth-century France, we just loe them!
