Ha avuto molto successo la sua serie “gender bending”, dove reinterpreta personaggi presi dalle favole Disney, dai capolavori dello Studio Ghibli e molti altri e ne inverte il genere sessuale.

Her “gender bending” series has been very successful, she reinterprets characters taken from Disney fairy tales, Studio Ghibli masterpieces and many more and changes the gender.

In una vecchia intervista raccontava che il suo manga preferito di tutti i tempi era Death Note, che cercava di dedicare particolare cura ai dettagli del viso che dicono molto del carattere dei personaggi e che per disegnare i corpi maschili si ispirava all’immaginario yaoi.

In an old interview she told that her favorite manga of all time was Death Note, she tried to pay special attention to the details of the face to give an idea on the personality and that yaoi are a good reference for drawing male bodies.

Queste illustrazioni sono divertenti, ma allo stesso tempo affascinano perché hanno una personalità propria che talvolta si distacca dal soggetto originario.

These illustrations are fun and fascinating at the same time because show a own personality that can be different from the original subject.
