HPS Milano è un’azienda specializzata nella distribuzione di cosmetici biologici certificati dalle alte performance, come Couleur Caramel e Altearah Bio.
Sabato 20 maggio siamo state nella loro sede a Grezzago dove abbiamo incontrato il CEO Francesco Maida e la Make Up Artist ufficiale Couleur Caramel Italia Elena Marchesi. Prima di allora non ci eravamo mai avvicinate ai cosmetici bio e per noi è stato molto interessante avere un confronto diretto con esperti del settore per scoprire da vicino questo mondo.

HPS Milano is a distributor for high performance certified organic cosmetics such as Couleur Caramel and Altearah Bio.
We visited their headquarters in Grezzago on May 20, where we met Francesco Maida, CEO of the company, and Elena Marchesi, Couleur Caramel Italia official Make Up Artist. Before then we had never really experienced organic cosmetics and for us it was very interesting to talk with the industry experts and to find out about this world.

È importante sottolineare che “naturale” non significa necessariamente “biologico”. Un cosmetico bio è infatti costituito da materie prime di origine biologica, quindi oltre ad essere naturali sono certificate e contengono molti attivi che apportano numerosi benefici alla nostra pelle.
Quello che ci ha sempre trattenuto dal testare regolarmente cosmetici biologici è che spesso in commercio si trovano prodotti poco performanti e, per noi che abbiamo sempre usato prodotti “tradizionali” con elementi sintetizzati chimicamente, è molto difficile giungere a compromessi e accontentarsi.
L’alta reputazione di HPS però sta proprio in questo: la selezione di brand di cosmetica biologica ed eco-friendly esclusivamente di alta gamma e, inoltre, il sostegno di un processo produttivo etico, che rispetti l’ambiente, i lavoratori e i consumatori.

It is important to say that ‘natural’ does not necessarily mean ‘organic’. A organic cosmetic is in fact made up of organic raw materials, so in addition to being natural, it is certified and contains many active ingredients that bring a lot of benefits to our skin.
We have never tested on regular base organic cosmetics because for us it was hard to find excellent organic products on the market, and since we have always applied ‘traditional’ products with synthetic ingredients, it is very difficult to come to a compromise and to be satisfy.
HPS has a high reputation: their strong point is the selection of exclusive and high-end organic and eco-friendly cosmetic brands, as well as the support of a ethical production process that respects the environment, workers and consumers.
