Mike Stimpson è un fotografo conosciuto con il nickname di “Balakov“, molto popolare tra il popolo di Flickr perchè usa come soggetti i personaggi Lego, ricostruendo ironicamente famose fotografie storiche o reinterpretando Star Wars, per lui una vera passione.

Naturalmente nel suoi album si possono ammirare anche scatti più “classici” e convenzionali, come il set “ingranaggi” o “fiori”, perchè come lui stesso dice:

Di tanto in tanto fotografo altri soggetti, voglio dire, con la quantità di attrezzature macro in mio possesso, sarebbe davvero scortese non fotografare fiori ogni tanto.

I do occasionally take photos of other things, I mean, with the amount of macro equipment I possess it would frankly be rude not to take the odd flower photo.
