Lo show di pattinaggio Intimissimi On Ice torna a incantare nella splendida cornice dell’Arena di Verona. Make-up ufficiale MAC Cosmetics, che il 7 ottobre ci ha fatto vivere a sua volta “One Amazing Day” dal tour in negozio fino al backstage.

Intimissimi On Ice, the popular skating show comes back again in the beautiful setting of Arena di Verona. MAC Cosmetics is the official make-up sponsor, which made us live “One Amazing Day” on October 7th from the shop tour to the backstage.

Lo spettacolo racconta del viaggio fantastico di ventiquattro ore dei due protagonisti Bel e Hero, interpretati da Kiira Korpi e Stephane Lambiel. Tra i pattinatori che ci hanno fatto sognare Evgeni Plushenko e Carolina Kostner. Ad accompagnare le performance dal vivo, Andrea Bocelli, che ha saputo rendere magico ogni momento.

The show tells the fantastic journey in twenty-four hours of Bel and Hero, the two main characters played by Kiira Korpi and Stephane Lambiel. Among the skaters who took part to this magic event there were Evgeni Plushenko and Carolina Kostner. Andrea Bocelli sang during the live performance, he really created an amazing atmosphere.

Michele Magnani, Global Senior Artist M·A·C Cosmetics, è stato il make-up designer dello show e ha creato i look dei protagonisti portando a teatro l’esperienza della fashion week: il risultato sono stati make-up armoniosi e delicati, sia per l’alta definizione della tv sia per il pubblico presente a teatro, che hanno celebrato l’individualità dei protagonisti. Ispirato dall’abito e dalla personalità di ciascuno, Michele ha trasformato il make-up di una donna reale in un sogno. Carolina Kostner è diventata prima una farfalla, con 3 paia di ciglia finte colorate con mascara giallo, turchese e blu elettrico, e poi la regina delle nevi, con applicazioni di cristalli Swarovski.

Michele Magnani, Global Senior Artist M·A·C Cosmetics, was the make-up designer of the show and created the make-up of the main characters bringing to theater the experience of the fashion week: the result were harmonious and delicate looks, both for high definition television and for the audience in the theater, which celebrated the uniqueness of the characters.
Michele turned the make-up of a real woman into a dream, inspired by the costume and the personality of each one. Carolina Kostner became first a butterfly, with 3 pairs of colored false eyelashes with a yellow, turquoise and electric blue mascara, and then the snow queen, with Swarovski crystals.

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di parlare con Matteo Guarise e Nicole Della Monica, campioni di coppia italiani di pattinaggio artistico, scoprendo come loro vivono il make-up: Matteo, che per lo show ha sfoggiato un body painting con ali sul petto, ha trovato nel trucco una fonte di libertà e di immedesimazione e Monica ci ha raccontato di come il make up sia per lei un rituale prima di ogni gara.
Per lo spettacolo il team MAC Pro ha personalizzato 100 ciglia numero 44 con acrilico sulle punte e glitter 3d silver.

We had the pleasure of talking with Matteo Guarise and Nicole Della Monica, the two awarded Italian pair skaters, discovering how they live the make-up: Matteo, who wore a body painting with wings on his chest, thinks that make-up is a source of freedom and empathy and Monica told us how the make-up is a ritual before every race.
The MAC Pro team customized 100 number 44 lashes with acrylic and 3d silver glitter on the tips.

Prima dello spettacolo, MAC Cosmetics ci ha accolto nel suo store di Verona per creare un make-up personalizzato. Protagonista del nostro look il nuovo rossetto Liptensity, intenso e brillante, che ha coccolato per tutta la serata le nostre labbra con la tonalità viola Hellebore.

Before the show MAC Cosmetics has welcomed us into his store in Verona to create beautiful make-up. The star of our new look was Liptensity lipstick, intense and bright, that made our lips amazing alla night int the purple shade Hellebore.
