Quest’anno è l’anniversario di 2 parrucchieri molto celebri: 20 anni il gotico e dolcissimo “acconciatore” di Tim Burton Edward Mani di Forbice, 30 anni in Italia il fashion hair stylist Jean Louis David, mentre ben 50 in Francia.
Edward Mani di Forbice invita tutti i suoi fan alla mostra “Edward Scissorhands 20th Anniversary Tribute” presso la galleria californiana Nucleus dal 16 aprile al 9 maggio 2011.
Jean Louis David invece ha indetto un concorso e, nonostante sia il suo compleanno, è lui stesso a fare un regalo ai suoi clienti: essere i protagonisti della prossima campagna autunno-inverno 2011-2012.
This year we celebrate the anniversary of two famous hair stylists: the 20th anniversary of Edward Scissorhands, the gothic and sweet Tim Burton’s “hair stylist”, the 30th in Italy and the 50th anniversary in France of the hair stylist Jean Louis David.
Edward Scissorhands invites all his fans to “Edward Scissorhands 20th Anniversary Tribute” at Nucleus Gallery in California from April 16 to May 9, 2011.
Instead Jean Louis David has announced a competition, even if it is his birthday, he made a gift to his clients: to be the protagonists of the next autumn-winter 2011-2012 campaign.
“Mon Coiffeur et Moi” è un concorso online aperto dal 31 marzo al 31 maggio 2011 in Francia, Italia, Spagna, Portogallo, Svizzera, Belgio, Russia e Polonia.
Per partecipare al casting è sufficiente caricare una propria fotografia, in coppia con il proprio parrucchiere Jean Louis David preferito o da soli (dopo aver scelto uno tra i parrucchieri con cui partecipare) sul sito del concorso, sulla fanpage o mediante l’applicazione iPhone. Se in questi due mesi andrete in uno dei saloni Jean Louis David a farvi i capelli, non perdete l’occasione.
Al termine del concorso, una giuria di esperti sceglierà la coppia di vincitori che daranno il volto alla nuova campagna. Chissà chi sarà a volare a Parigi per lo shooting fotografico!?
“Mon Coiffeur et Moi” is an online competition opened from March 31 to May 31, 2011, in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium, Russia and Poland.
To participate in the casting you just have to upload a photo of yourself with your favorite hairdresser Jean Louis David or alone (after choosing one of the hair stylists with whom you want to participate) on the competition website, on the fanpage or through an iPhone app. If you will go in one of Jean Louis David hair salon during these two months, do not miss this opportunity.
A panel of experts will select the pair of winners who will be the faces for the new campaign at the end of the competition. Who knows who is going to fly to Paris for the photo session!?
