Come sempre la scelta dei vincitori è stata molto ardua. Il bosco delle Fate è un luogo incantato senza tempo. I fiumi sono cristallini e dovunque i soffioni ricamano figure immaginarie, danzando silenziosi. Messaggeri magici dello Splendore. Yana nasce da un fiore di soffione e una goccia di rugiada. È il vento che sa di viole a scoprire i suoi occhietti vispi. Ogni foglia o filo d’erba o fiore, ogni farfalla colorata viene a lasciare un dono. Yana sarà la Regina delle Fate del Bosco.
In un luogo senza Tempo, nascosto sotto le pietre nasce una bambina dagli occhi azzurri. È una bambina silenziosa, col viso bianchissimo e le guance rosa. Nel suo sguardo rubato all’oceano, è il destino della Maga delle Ombre. Quella che ruberà alle Fate il brillio della vita.
Quando la Maga delle Ombre incontrerà Yana, le ruberà il sorriso e lo catturerà per sempre nei suoi occhi azzurri, rubati all’Oceano.
Ma la magia delle Fate del Bosco è protetta dall’incantesimo più potente che esista: l’incantesimo della Felicità. Lo esprimono gli amici, quando si stringono le mani. Che chiedono alle fate di ricamare i loro nomi insieme, con fili di seta di ragnatele e polvere di Luna.
La Maga delle Ombre, con i suoi occhi azzurri, imparerà a sorridere. Ora, che Yana, la Regina delle Fate, l’ha portata fra i suoi amici. E non sarà mai più sola. Non sarà mai più un’ombra…
The Fairy forest is an enchanted and timeless place. The rivers are crystal clear and dandelions embroider imaginary figures everywhere, silently dancing. Magic messengers of Splendour. Yana was born from a dandelion and a dew drop. It is the violet-scented wind that discovers her lively eyes. Each leaf or blade of grass or flower, each colored butterfly comes to leave a gift. Yana is the Queen of the Fairies of the Wood.
In a timeless place, hidden under the rocks a baby with blue eyes is born. She is a quiet girl, with a white face and pink cheeks. In her eyes stolen from the ocean, is the fate of the Sorceress of Shadows. She will steal the sparkle of life from the Fairies.

But the magic of the Fairies of the Wood is protected by the most powerful spell in the world: the spell of Happiness. It is expressed by friends, when they shake hands. They ask to Fairies to embroider their names together with silk threads from cobwebs and moondust.
The Sorceress of Shadows, with her blue eyes, will learn to smile. Now that Yana, the Fairy Queen, has included her among her friends. And she will never be alone. She will never be a shadow…

She seems to wear a tulip in her head, like all the fairies. She seems to be born to shine… ♥ Tell us what inspired you to write this story for the contest I was inspired by my land, Basilicata, in which each forest seems to be enchanted. … and the winner is… Marzia
Betta si svegliò molto presto quella mattina, e si recò nei boschi con l’intenzione di raccogliere dei funghi, aveva infatti visto la sera prima alla tv (a Cotto e Mangiato per essere precisi) una ricetta di pizza ai funghi e panna… e come non poteva venirle l’acquolina in bocca?
Eccola allora pronta, con tanta pazienza, allegria e cestino alla mano per farsi una bella scorta.
Cammina cammina ed ecco finalmente una bella distesa di piccoli e teneri funghetti golosi!
Si chinò per raccoglierli e…
“Altolà!! straniero” impaurita, Betta si preparò a sferrare un colpo di kickboxing, solo per difendersi ovvio, ma al suo cospettò si vide palesare la piccola figura di un dolce topino…
“Oh scusa mi avevi spaventata” disse Betta,
“Cosa intendete fare con i funghi incantati della foresta incantatissima?” ribattè ostile il topino.
“Oh volevo raccoglierli, mi spiace, non sapevo fossero incantati, mi scuso… cercherò altrove”.
“Dove credete di andare?, oramai è troppo tardi, chi osa toccare il suolo incantevole deve affrontarmi in duello, e io per vostra sfortuna sono un fin troppo abile spadaccino!”.
E nel dir così il topino lanciò alla povera Betta una spada, lei non fece in tempo a dire che non era equo, perchè una spada non l’aveva mai toccata fino a quel momento, che lui deciso già tirava di spada.
Disperata Betta scansava i colpi come poteva e si preparava a soccombere.
In quel momento, si udì un galoppo lontano… e Betta si sentì sollevare all’improvviso… era in salvo!
Un unicorno alato l’aveva presa in groppa, e consolandola (la poverina piangeva a dirotto) la portava tra le nuvole.
“Sta tranquilla piccolina ti riporto a casa”.
E i funghi vissero felici e contenti ^_^

Betta awoke early that morning, and she went into the woods to gather some mushrooms, in fact she had seen a recipe for pizza with mushrooms and cream the night before on TV… and her mouth starts to water.
Then she was ready, with lots of patience, joy and a basket in her hand ready to gather a good supply of mushrooms.
She walked and walked, and finally she came to a a beautiful expanse of small and tender mushrooms!
She bent down to pick them and…
“Stop! Stranger” petrified, Betta prepared to launch a kickboxing attack, only to defend herself obviously, but she saw a sweet little mouse…
“Forgive me for scaring you” said Betty,
“What do you want with the enchanted mushrooms of the very enchanted forest?” replied the little mouse in a unfriendly way.
“Oh, I just wanted to pick them, I’m sorry, I didn’t know they were enchanted, I’m sorry… I’ll try elsewhere.”
“Where are you going?, It’s too late now, who dares to touch the enchanted ground must challenge me to a duel, and unlucky for you I’m a skilled swordsman.”
With that the mouse gave the poor Betta a sword, without giving her time to say that it was not fair, because she had never touched a sword before, that he drew his sword.
The desperate Betta parried the sword blows as best she could, but she was about to give up.
At that moment, she heard galloping… Betty was caught up in the air suddenly… she was safe!
A winged unicorn took her on his back, and consoling her (the poor girl wept copiously) he brought her up into the clouds.
“Be quiet, little girl, I will bring you home.”

| ♥ Nickname: Marzia ♥ Paese: Monopoli ♥ Anni: 25 ♥ Perchè hai scelto Betta? Le USBdolls sono tutte dolcissime, io non sono riuscita a sceglierne una, così ho preferito fare una storia per ognuna. E mi sono divertita molto nel farlo ^^ ♥ A cosa ti sei ispirata per scrivere la tua storia? Mi sono ispirata alle immagini che ho trovato nel sito (ho scelto quelle che mi hanno colpito per qualche motivo es. i colori, la dolcezza ^^ ecc.) ed anche alle caratteristiche del personaggio. Betta è napoletana e ama la pizza, dunque ho trovato per caso la foto dei funghi dolcissimi, e l’ho “mandata a coglierli” per metterli sulla pizza… e così via… una cosa tira l’altra e la storia si è disegnata da sè. ♥ Quali saranno le prime cose da conservare nella tua nuova USBdolls? Metterò sicuramente i miei nuovi disegni in Freehand, così quando andrò dal mio ragazzo, potrò metterli sul suo pc, (con lo schermo grandissimo *___* ) ed aggiustarli per bene, ^^ visto che sono “costretta” a cecarmi XD sul monitor minuscolo del mio netbook ^_^O |
♥ Nickname: Marzia ♥ Country: Monopoli, Italy ♥ Age: 25 ♥ Why did you choose Betta? All the USBdolls are very sweet, I couldn’t choose one, so I decided to write a story for each. And I enjoyed doing it ^^ ♥ Tell us what inspired you to write this story for the contest I was inspired by the images that I found in the website (I chose the ones that impressed me for some reason, example: the colors, the cuteness ^^ etc.) and also by the characteristics of the character. Betta is Neapolitan and she loves pizza, so I stumbled upon the photo of the sweet mushrooms, and I “sent her to pick them” to put them on pizza… and so on… one thing led to another and the story was drawn by itself. ♥ What will be the first files to keep in your USBdoll? Definitely I’ll store my new draws in Freehand, so when I’ll visit my boyfriend, I can move them on his pc (with a huge screen *___*) and i’ll fix them well, ^^ in fact my screen is very small ^_^O |

IO E ASTRID (il mio battesimo kawaii!!!!)
Eh sì, appena avvistato il contest, sotto l’occhietto ammiccante che ben conoscete, ho pensato: sono pronta ad agire kawaii!!! Voglio essere una di loro!!!
Tempo fa, ho sentito il bisogno di capire il vero significato di questa parola perché se la mia migliore amica ne era immersa ed affascinata, non potevo non provare a condividere!
All’inizio pensavo che kawaii fosse sinonimo di “giapponese”… poi… kawaii è diventato trovare il lato “carino” di tutto… e dopo ancora… trovare qualcosa di carino e particolare nel mondo… ora, finalmente, è cercare quel che di kawaii c’è in me!
Che evoluzione!
Dopo questa premessa di crescita personale, un po’ romantica, introspettiva, legata ad un’amicizia, vi dico perché ho scelto la usbdolls Astrid!
Astrid è la mia rappresentante kawaii! Io mi sento proprio così!
Astrid è moderna (siamo nel 2010 e non ci piove!), scattante veloce e all’avanguardia (è o non è comunque una chiavetta usb????!!!), è simbolo di amicizia (racchiude foto, ricordi, canzoni, sogni), segue una moda sportiva (come me), ma ha particolari che la possono rendere davvero kawaii (acconciatura, trucco, accessori)… e la posso portare sempre con me!!!
Le foto che ho scelto di affiancare a Astrid raccontano in sintesi la mia crescita kawaii.

ASTRID AND ME (my kawaii baptism!!!!)
Yes, when I’ve just seen the contest, under the winking eye that you know well, I thought: I am ready to act in a kawaii way! I want to be one of them!
Some time ago, I felt the need to understand the true meaning of this word because if my best friend was immersed and fascinated, I could not but try to share!
At first I thought that kawaii was a synonymous of “Japanese”… then… kawaii became finding the “nice” side of everything… and then… finding something nice and unique in the world… now, finally, it is finding what is kawaii in me!
What evolution!
After this introduction of my personal growth, a bit romantic, introspective, bound to a friendship, I’ll tell you why I’ve chosen Astrid!
Astrid is my kawaii representative! I feel just like that!
Astrid is modern (we are in 2010), fast, dynamic and technologic (however she is a USB key), she is a symbol of friendship (she stores photos, memories, songs, dreams), she has a fashion sporty style (like me), but she has some accessories that can make her really kawaii (hair, makeup, etc.)… and I can keep her with me!

pan di zenzero piccolino
a sua misura ma anche lui bambino.
Per non essere mai sola,
per andar sulla neve come se si vola,
e giungere laggiù
dove stanno Machupichu e Timbuktù.
Tra i suoi neri ricci,
che erano frutto di molti capricci,
si nasconde la sua magia:
ogni fiocchetto realizza una sua fantasia.

Il contest è stato bellissimo, e mi sono divertita moltissimo sia a creare le mie storie, che a leggere le altre! Siamo tutte tornate un po’ bambine, anche se io personalmente non sono mai cresciuta :P
Comunque mi avete fatta invecchiare di 3 anni… >.<’ ne ho ancora 25, non 28 T_T (so che un giorno arriveranno anche quelli per me… ma ancora no XD)
