Non Solo Kawaii

Miwa è una giovane Sweet Lolita italiana. Per la precisione, Miwa è una Pinku Lolita (Lolita Rosa) e i suoi abiti e accessori vanno dal rosa chiaro al fucsia fino ad arrivare al viola. Ma Miwa è rosa sia dentro che fuori: non solo è una Lolita che veste abiti ricchi di pizzi e fiocchi, ma è anche una ragazza dolcissima.

Miwa is a young Italian Sweet Lolita. To be more precise, Miwa is a Pinku Lolita (Pink Lolita) and her clothes and accessories ranging from the light pink to the fuchsia up to the purple. But Miwa is pink inside and outside: she is not only a Lolita who wears clothes full of lace and bows, but she is also a very sweet girl.

L’abbiamo conosciuta un anno fa in occasione del “Kawaii Contest: Cos’è il kawaii?“.
Ecco cosa aveva scritto:

We knew her a year ago during the “Kawaii Contest: What is kawaii?“.
Here’s what she wrote:

Kawaii… è un modo di essere, uno stile di vita, è un via di fuga da tutte le brutture del mondo che quando diventi grande devi affrontare ogni giorno… è vivere in un cartone animato, è avere la fantasia di trasformare ogni cosa in qualcosa di più colorato, divertente e dolce, è vedere con la consapevolezza dei grandi ma con la leggerezza dei piccoli, è aspettare un anno per avere un lavoro kawaii, è farsi tatuare una scritta in giapponese con un cuoricino e dire con fierezza “significa grazioso in giapponese X3″, è non prendersi troppo sul serio, è dolcezza, è alleggerire la vita con un po’ di zucchero, è ciò che ti fa pensare che qualcosa di ancora buono a questo mondo ci sia, insomma il kawaii è tutto… almeno per me ;3

Kawaii… is a way of being, a way of life is an escape from all the ugliness of the world that when you become adult you have to face every day… it is to live in a cartoon, it is to have the imagination to transform every thing into something more colorful, funny and sweet, it is to see with the awareness of the adult but with the lightness of the children, it is to wait a year to get a kawaii job, it is to make a tattoo with a Japanese word and a little heart and to say with pride “in Japanese it means cute X3″ and it is to not take yourself too seriously, it is the sweetness and it is to make the life lighter with a little sugar, it is what makes you think that something is still good in this world, in short, kawaii is everything… at least for me ;3

Giunte alla sua dimora, ci accoglie con un outfit fucsia, in perfetto pendant con i numerosi accessori che abbelliscono il suo look.
La sua casa è un inno alla cultura kawaii: ovunque ci sono peluche e soprammobili con character di Sanrio tra cui Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi e Little Twin Stars, cuori, fiocchi, pasticcini e fragole. Il suo pc portatile e il suo cellulare sono, ovviamente rosa, e personalizzati con un’infinità di sticker kawaii. Oggetti kawaii in salotto, in camera, in cucina e persino in bagno!

When we come to her home, she welcome us with a fuchsia outfit, with many accessories that adorn her look.
Her house is a tribute to kawaii culture: wherever you can find plushies and ornaments with Sanrio characters including Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi and Little Twin Stars, hearts, ribbons, pastries and strawberries. Her laptop and her cell phone are obviously pink and customized with a tons of kawaii stickers. Kawaii objects in the living room, in the bedroom or even in the kitchen and in the bathroom!

Miwa porta anche sulla pelle i simboli della cultura kawaii (ve li abbiamo mostrati nell’articolo Focus on: Kawaii & Fashion Tattoo): un tatuaggio con la scritta in giapponese della parola kawaii かわいい sul braccio, sulla spalla un unicorno con la scritta “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” (letteralmente “Infinita Letizia della Mente Candida!”, titolo originale del film “Se mi lasci ti cancello”) e dietro alla schiena, come se fosse una gattina, lo stesso fiocco di Charmmy Kitty, la gatta di Hello Kitty.

Miwa also has the symbols of the kawaii culture on her skin (we showed them in the article Focus on: Kawaii Fashion & Tattoo): a tattoo with the word kawaii かわいい written in Japanese on her arm, a unicorn with the words “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” on her shoulder and the same bow of Charmmy Kitty, the Hello Kitty’s cat, on her back.
