Lacrima Aquarium è una mostra che si sviluppa attorno al tema dell’acqua, realizzata in collaborazione con la Galleria d’Arte contemporanea Dorothy Circus Gallery, aperta dal 6 al 30 Dicembre nello storico edificio Acquario Romano.
Lacrima Aquarium vede protagonisti 33 artisti della corrente neo surrealista pop che hanno interpretato l’acqua, come fonte femminile di vita, personificazione della bellezza e della natura.

Lacrima Aquarium is a exhibition dedicated to the theme of water, in collaboration with the Contemporary Art Gallery Dorothy Circus Gallery, open from December 6 to 30 2013 in the historical Acquario Romano.
Lacrima Aquarium displays the works of 33 pop surrealist artists who have interpreted the water, as a feminine source of life, the personification of beauty and nature.

“Le opere, inedite e composte appositamente sul tema esprimeranno attraverso una visione onirica quello che la Lacrima Madre porta con sè dell’immaginario collettivo e goccia dopo goccia creeranno per la suggestiva sala dell’Acquario Romano il fantasma di un ventre materno capace di accogliere nuove dottrine, sogni e pensieri.”

‘The artworks some from private collections, some brand new, composed on the theme of Water, will express through a dreamlike vision, the meaning of what the “Mother Tear” brings inside itself of the collective imaginary. Drop by drop the artists will create for the inspiring hall of the Roman Aquarium the ghost of a mother’s womb able to accept new doctrines, dreams and thoughts.’
