Lorena Assisi è una giovane illustratrice freelance italiana specializzata alla scuola internazionale di Comics a Roma, che combina lo stile tradizionale con l’arte digitale e ama lasciarsi ispirare da miti e leggende popolari, preferendo iniziare i suoi disegni su un foglio di carta anticato piuttosto che da uno bianco.

Lorena Assisi is a young Italian freelance illustrator, graduated at the International School of Comics in Rome, who combines traditional and digital art and loves to be inspired by myths and folk tales, preferring to start her drawings on a old-looking sheet rather than a white one.

La passione per il disegno ha sempre fatto parte di lei, un’esigenza che la porta a interpretare il mondo filtrandolo attraverso le sue sensazioni e rappresentandolo con un codice unico fatto di linee e colori.

The passion for drawing has always been a part of her, a need that brings her to interpret the world through her feelings and representing it with a unique code made of lines and colors.

I suoi soggetti preferiti sono donne bellissime che Lorena ritrae in tutta la loro forza e fragilità, spesso vestite solo del loro fascino, che spingono l’osservatore a indugiare sui dettagli del disegno, provando a fantasticare sul loro universo interiore e al contesto a cui appartengono.

Her favorite subjects are beautiful women whom Lorena portrays in all their strength and fragility, often dressed only with their charm, that pushes the viewer to linger on the details of the drawings, trying to imagine their inner world and where they live.
