Finalmente è in uscito nelle sale l’attesissimo “Maleficent” che racconta da un diverso punto di vista, arricchito da prequel e sequel, la storia de “La bella addormentata nel bosco”, film Disney del 1959.
Maleficent è diretto da Robert Stromberg e vede Angelina Jolie meravigliosa protagonista e produttrice esecutiva.

Finally “Maleficent” will be released in few days, it tells the classic Disney movie, “The Sleeping Beauty”, from a different point of view, with a prequels and a sequels.
Maleficent is directed by Robert Stromberg and Angelina Jolie is the wonderful protagonist and executive producer.

• Trama / Plot

Malefica è la fata più bella e forte del regno boscoso, dove vivono in armonia e senza sovrani creature incantevoli e pacifiche.
Malefica è molto protettiva verso gli altri abitanti, è libera e altruista e mostrerà tutto il suo coraggio quando dovrà affrontare l’attacco di un esercito guidato dall’avido sovrano degli umani.
Questa guerra la cambierà radicalmente, le farà perdere le ali, indurirà il suo cuore e, annebbiata dalla vendetta e dal dolore, scaglierà la famosa maledizione sulla piccola Aurora, ma il suo cuore sarà davvero così mutato da perdere ogni traccia di amore e umanità?

Maleficent is the most beautiful and strong fairy of the wooded kingdom, where wonderful and peaceful creatures live in harmony and without a king.
Maleficent is very protective of the other inhabitants, she is free and unselfish and shows all her courage when she has to face the attack of an army led by the greedy king of humans.
The war will radically change her, she will lose the wings, become evil, and be filled by revenge and pain, putting the famous curse on the little Aurora, but will her heart really be changed to the extent to lose all her love and humanity?

• Commento / Review

Iniziamo col dire che “Maleficent” ci è piaciuto moltissimo e vi consigliamo di correre al cinema e non perdervi il meraviglioso spettacolo, che vi incanterà per i set da sogno, la protagonista che vale da sola il prezzo del biglietto e la storia, per nulla banale, che siamo sicure riuscirà a strapparvi qualche lacrima.
Se pensate di vedere un semplice remake de “La bella addormentata nel bosco” vi sbagliate, “Maleficent” è la versione più profonda e maestosa del suo illustre predecessore e polverizza molti cliché che riguardano la figura femminile dipinta nel film del ‘59.
In “Maleficent” fortunatamente tra i doni delle fate non viene annoverato il famoso, quanto inutile, “dono del canto” e il principe azzurro si pone finalmente il dubbio di baciare una fanciulla in stato di incoscienza che conosce appena.
Aria fresca.
Imperdibile.

We have really enjoyed “Maleficent” and we recommend you to watch it too, you will love the dream-like set, the protagonist, that is a reason enough to go to the cinema, and the original plot that will move you for sure.
If you think that it’s a simple remake of “The Sleeping Beauty” you are wrong, “Maleficent” is the most profound and majestic version of its illustrious predecessor and it pulverizes many clichés of the female figure depicted in the movie of 1959.
In “Maleficent” among the gifts of the fairies luckily there isn’t the famous, as well as useless, “gift of song” and the prince finally is in doubt about kissing a unconscious girl that he barely knows.
Fresh air.
