“Forgotten Heroines” è la nuova mostra personale di Natalie Shau alla Last Rites Art Gallery di New York, aperta dal 31 maggio al 5 luglio, che si ispira alle figure femminili protagoniste di miti e leggende che fanno parte dell’immaginario di diverse culture (nordica, greca, ebraica, cristiana).
“Forgotten Heroines” is the new exhibition by Natalie Shau at the Last Rites Art Gallery in New York City, opened from May 31 to July 5, inspired by the female figures taken from myths and legends that are part of the imaginary of different cultures (Norse, Greek, Hebrew and Christian).

Le “Forgotten Heroines” hanno le fattezze di perfette bambole di porcellana, ma sono donne dalla personalità forte che nascondono un mondo sommerso che affiora attraverso il loro sguardo e le allegorie presenti nei particolari che completano le opere.
The “Forgotten Heroines” look like perfect porcelain dolls, but they are women with a strong personality that hide an inner world that comes to the surface through their eyes and the allegories in the details of the artworks.
