La Svizzera, il paese di Heidi circondato dalle Alpi, ci ricorda le montagne coperte di neve, le vallate verdi, i magnifici laghi, il cioccolato, la bandiera rossa con la croce bianca… ispirazioni che OPI ha trasformato nella linea Autunno/Inverno 2010 con 12 tonalità di smalti: la Swiss Collection.

Switzerland, where Heidi lives surrounded by the Alps, reminds us of the snow-covered mountains, the green valleys, the magnificent lakes, the chocolate, the red flag with the white cross… OPI has taken these inspirations for the Fall/Winter 2010 collection with 12 shades of nail polishes: the Swiss Collection.

La collezione è composta da 6 tonalità calde che vanno dal rosso fuoco al color cioccolato, per lo più lucide e laccate, e da 6 tonalità fredde che vanno dal blu al verde, per lo più frozen con effetto metallizzato.

The collection consists of 6 warm shades ranging from bright red to chocolate brown, bright and lacquered, and of 6 cool shades ranging from blue to green, with frozen or metallic effect.

In particolar modo il Kawaii Team si è soffermato su 3 di questi smalti dando una propria interpretazione attraverso una serie di fotografie che ritraggono degli swatch artistici.

In particular, the Kawaii Team focused on three of these nail polishes, giving its own interpretation through a series of photographs which show some artistic swatches.

• Glitzerland

Il giusto termine per unire Gold (oro) e Switzerland (Svizzera) è Glitzerland! Non è il solito colore oro metallizzato, è uno champagne luminosissimo.
Le kawaii girls durante la merenda sorseggiano un bel tè caldo in porcellane dorate. Ci vogliamo aggiungere anche dei dolcissimi biscotti?

The right name for joining Gold and Switzerland is Glitzerland! It isn’t the usual metallic gold, but it is a bright champagne.
The kawaii girls sip a warm tea in a golden porcelain cup during the afternoon snack. Would we add some sweet biscuits?

In versione Grimilde abbiamo anche preparato una mela per la dolce Heidi! Impossibile che sia avvelenata, semmai sarà caramellata!

In Grimilde version we have also prepared an apple for the sweet Heidi! It can not be poisoned, if anything it will be candied!

• Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous

Un argento scuro come quello di un minerale di grafite, con microglitter dalle tonalità fredde.
Le kawaii girls si sono coperte per ripararsi dal freddo inverno svizzero con guanti e pellicciotto (ecologico!), ritrovando un po’ di tepore.

A dark silver like a mineral graphite, with cold tones of microglitter.
In Switzerland it is very cold, so the kawaii girls wear gloves and (ecological!) fur, finding a bit of warmth.

• Yodel Me On My Cell

Per giorni ci siamo interrogate sulla sua tonalità: è verde o è blu? E quando lo abbiamo provato lo abbiamo finalmente scoperto: è un bellissimo blu metallizzato con riflessi tendenti al verde.
Le kawaii girls giocano con la natura: gli alberi, le pigne e preparano la legna per accendere il camino.

We have wondered about its colour for days: is it green or blue? And when we wore it we have finally found out: it is a beautiful metallic blue with green highlights.
The kawaii girls play with nature: trees, pine cones and they take the wood to light the fire.
