« Rôses by… » è la romantica mostra fotografica organizzata dalla maison Lancôme in cui 20 tra i più importanti fotografi di moda hanno interpretato il suo simbolo: la rosa.
Camminando tra le opere esposte, pare di essere in un roseto, anzi, in 20 roseti, perchè ogni fotografo ha interpretato la “sua” rosa. Sensuale, femminile, delicata, romantica, elegante, selvaggia, rossa, rosa o bianco nero.

« Roses by… » is the romantic photo exhibition organized by Lancôme where 20 of the greatest fashion photographers have been inspired by its emblem: the rose.
Walking through the exhibits, it seems to be in a rose garden, indeed in 20 rose gardens, because each photographer has interpreted “his” rose. Sensual, feminine, delicate, romantic, elegant, wild, red, pink or black and white.

« Rôses by… » è una mostra itinerante.
La prossima tappa sarà il 6 Giugno a Madrid.
Dal 27 aprile al 1 maggio è stata la volta di Milano, presso la Galleria Carla Sozzani in Corso Como 10.

“Roses by …” is a traveling exhibition.
The next city will be Madrid on June the 6th.
It was possible to visit it from April the 27th to May the 1st in Milan at Galleria Carla Sozzani in Corso Como 10.

Il 26 aprile abbiamo partecipato all’opening, al quale erano presenti alcuni personaggi famosi tra cui Natasha Stefanenko, Ellen Hidding, Kris & Kris, Antonella di X-Factor, Tosca D’Acquino, Emanuela Folliero, Mario Boselli (Presidente della Camera della Moda Italiana) e Claudio Fratoni makeup artist di Lancôme.
La scenografia è stata ideata dall’architetto francese Joseph Dirand. La sala adibita alla mostra ricordava l’interno di un elegante appartamento con pareti bianche e grigie e morbide poltrone rosa di pelle.

On April the 26th we went to the opening, where there were some celebrities including Natasha Stefanenko, Ellen Hidding, Kris & Kris, Antonella Lo Coco (X-Factor), Tosca D’Aquino, Emanuela Folliero, Mario Boselli (President of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana) and Claudio Fratoni, makeup artist for Lancôme.
The setting was designed by the French architect Joseph Dirand. The place reminds of an elegant apartment with white and gray walls and soft pink leather armchairs.

Siamo onorati che venti dei più importanti fotografi, tutti legati a Lancôme, abbiano accettato l’invito a interpretare l’emblema di Lancôme: la rosa. “Rôses by…” risveglia i sensi e pone delle domande sulla nozione di bellezza che, spero, apporterà il suo contributo nel mondo delle arti e allo stesso tempo aggiungerà un capitolo appassionante alla storia di Lancôme.

We are honoured that 20 of the greatest photographers, all of whom have ties to Lancôme, have accepted our invitation to interpret Lancôme’s emblem, the rose. “Rôses by…” awakens the senses and poses questions concerning the concept of beauty. It will, I hope, contribute to the world of the arts and at the same time add an exciting chapter to Lancôme’s story.
