Passiamo sempre più del nostro tempo a navigare su internet, a leggere blog e ad interagire attraverso i social network. Ogni giorno comunichiamo con persone vicine e lontane chilometri e chilometri. Seguiamo blog e canali di YouTube che offrono un intrattenimento superiore a quello dei programmi televisivi, ma quando le nostre web celebrity del web vanno in tv, allora non possiamo fare a meno di seguirle nell’impresa, soprattutto quando un programma televisivo li vede come protagonisti assoluti…

We spend more and more of our time online, reading blogs and interacting through social networks. We communicate with people who live near and a long way away everyday. We follow blogs and YouTube channels that are more entertaining than television programs, but when our web celebrity are on TV, we can not help but watch them, especially when they are the protagonists…

“Social King” è il primo show game interattivo dedicato ai social network e alle web celebrity, condotto da Metis Di Meo e Livio Beshir, in onda su Rai2, dal 12 febbraio al 3 luglio 2011, il sabato e la domenica mattina dalle 9:20 alle 10:10.
Se siete dei dormiglioni (come noi!), potrete seguire “Social King” anche sul sito del programma e rivedere le puntate.
Dal 16 febbraio, ogni giorno dal lunedì al venerdi alle 20:10, sarà inoltre possibile vedere sul canale Rai Gulp “Social King Replay” che mostrerà approfondimenti e contenuti extra.

“Social King” is the first Italian interactive game show dedicated to social networks and web celebrities, hosted by Metis Di Meo and Livio Beshir on Rai2, from February 12 to July 3 2011, on Saturday and Sunday morning from 9:20 to 10:10.
If you are a late riser (like us!), you can watch “Social King” on the website of the program and watch the episodes.
You can also watch “Social King Replay” on Rai Gulp that will show extra content every day from Monday to Friday at 20:10 on February 16.

“Social King” è un quiz televisivo in cui ogni weekend si sfidano due squadre di web celebrity.

Una delle grandi novità di questo programma è che la puntata del sabato mattina sarà in diretta e i fan potranno aiutare i loro beniamini comunicando con loro attraverso i social network: potranno aiutarli, sostenerli e votarli dando il proprio “mi piace”.
La sfida consisterà proprio nell’utilizzo delle numerose possibilità che il web mette a disposizione: ricercare informazioni e immagini, rispondere a domande su temi attuali nel mondo web e fare sfide con advergame.

“Social King” is a game show in which two teams of web celebrities defy each other every weekend.
A new one of this program is that the episode on Saturday morning will be a live broadcast and fans can help their favourite ones communicating with them through social networks: they can help them, support them and vote for them.
The challenge consists in using all the opportunities that the web offers: searching information and pictures, answering questions on current topics in the web world and playing advergames.
