In questo articolo troverete i consigli del makeup artist Rajan Tolomei raccolti durante la Makeup School di Max Factor tenutasi il 16 aprile presso l’Hotel Diana Majestic a Milano. Ripercorreremo passo dopo passo i diversi step ed i prodotti utilizzati, tra cui le ultime novità di Max Factor i rossetti Flipstick, il mascara 2000 Calorie e gli smalti Glossfinity.

How to make a summer smokey eyes? In this article you will find the advice of the makeup artist Rajan Tolomei, that he gave us during the Max Factor Makeup School on April the 16th at Diana Majestic Hotel in Milan. We will write step by step the different products used, including the latest Max Factor ones, Flipstick lipsticks, 2000 Calorie mascara and Glossfinity nail polishes.

1 ♥ Crema viso / Face Cream

Applicare la crema su viso e collo.
Non prendere la crema direttamente con le dita, perché potrebbero esserci dei batteri sulle mani che si potrebbero diffondere nella crema.
Non lavare le mani dopo averla messa, approfitta della sua azione idratante per le tue mani.

Apply the cream on face and neck.
Do not take cream right with your fingers, because there could be germs on your hands that could be spread in the cream.
Do not wash your hands after applying it, it will moisturize your hands too.

2 ♥ Fondotinta / Foundation - Ageless Elixir, Warm Almond 45

Bagnare il pennello nella crema viso.
Mettere un po’ di fondotinta sul dorso della mano, intingerci il pennello e stendere sul viso.
Per aumentare la tenuta del fondotinta si possono applicare fino a 3 strati e, dove si necessita una maggior copertura, picchiettare col prodotto.
Il fondotinta Ageless Elixir contiene un siero che con l’uso migliora l’incarnato.

Dip the brush in the face cream.
Put a bit of foundation on the back of the hand, dip the brush and apply it.
To make the foundation last longer, you can apply up to 3 layers, and where you need more coverage, tap the product.
Ageless Elixir foundation contains a serum that improves the skin.

3 ♥ Terra / Bronzer

Prendere una spugnetta, piegarla, prelevare un po’ di prodotto e quindi tamponare (non tirare): da metà orecchio per dare effetto allo zigomo, sulla tempia e sotto il mento.

Take a sponge, fold it, take a bit of product and then tap it: from the middle of the ear to enhance the cheekbone, on the temple and under the chin.

4 ♥ Cipria / Powder - Creme Puff, 41 Medium Beige

Passare la cipria su tutto il viso, anche su palpebre e collo.
Applicarne in grande quantità sotto gli occhi, in modo che, nel caso in cui cada dell’ombretto, sia facile cancellarlo con un colpo di pennello quando si sarà terminato il makeup.
Ricordarsi di non soffiare sul pennello per rimuovere l’eccesso!
Quando cipria e fondotinta raggiungono la stessa temperatura della pelle, si fondono.
Se c’è un’imperfezione, aggiungere un po’ di fondotinta in quel punto e poi rimettere la cipria.

Apply the powder all over your face, even on the lids and the neck.
Apply it in large amounts under the eyes, so that the eyeshadow, that could fall out, is easy to remove with a brush when the make up will be finished.
Remember not to blow on the brush to remove excess!
When powder and foundation reach the same temperature of the skin, they blend together.
If there is an imperfection, add a bit of foundation and then add the powder again.

5 ♥ Blush - Flawless Perfection, 215 Sable

Stendere dalla tempia allo zigomo, tagliando in senso orizzontale.
Il blush dona un “effetto sano” al volto.

Apply horizontally from the temple to the cheekbone.
Blush gives a “healthy effect” to the face.

6 ♥ Ombretto / Eyeshadow - Earth Spirits, 116 Wicked White

Stendere il colore panna sull’arcata sopraccigliare per dare un tocco di luce.

Apply the cream eyeshadow under the eyebrow to give a touch of light.

7 ♥ Ombretto / Eyeshadow - Earth Spirits, 108 Inca Bronze

Stendere il colore dorato sullo zigomo per dare un tocco di luce.

Apply the golden eyeshadow on the cheekbones to give a touch of light.

8 ♥ Matita / Eyeliner - Kohl Pencil, Black

Stendere sulla palpebra mobile e sulla rima inferiore senza preoccuparsi di fare una linea precisa.
Sfumare la matita con il pennello.

Apply on the eyelid and on the lower eyelid, it’s not necessary to be precise.
Blend the eyeliner with a brush

9 ♥ Ombretto / Eyeshadow - Earth Spirits, 112 Stormy Blue

Stendere il colore grigio blu sulla palpebra mobile, direttamente sulla matita sfumata.

Apply the gray blue eyeshadow on the eyelid, directly on the blended eyeliner.

10 ♥ Mascara - 2000 Calorie Dramatic Volume

Fare tre passate: applicare due volte concentrando il prodotto alla base e facendo zig-zag e infine stendere fino alla punta delle ciglia.

Make three layers: apply twice focusing on the base and zigzag, and then apply up to the point of the lashes.

11 ♥ Ombretto / Eyeshadow - Earth Spirits, 132 Ultra Blue

Tamponare l’ombretto azzurrino sulla parte centrale della palpebra mobile.

Apply the blue eye shadow on the centre of the eyelid.

12 ♥ Rossetto / Lipstick - Flipstick Colour Effect, 15 Boreal Mauve

Rossetto 2 in 1: da un lato ha un colore più scuro e matte, dall’altro uno più chiaro e perlato.
Le due tonalità possono essere indossate: separatamente, insieme stendendo prima la parte scura e poi il colore chiaro, oppure mixando in modo netto i due colori.
Ha una lunga durata ed è idratante. L’unica pecca per questo prodotto eccezionale è il packaging: il design non è molto accattivante e si deve fare attenzione a togliere il cappuccio perchè il rossetto non rientra completamente all’interno.
Disponibile in 8 doppie tonalità:
05 Bloomy Pink, 10 Folky Pink, 15 Boreal Mauve, 20 Mosaic Mauve, 25 Salsa Red, 30 Gipsy Red, 35 Swingy Brown, 40 Melody Brown.

2 in 1 Lipstick: one is darker and matte, the other is lighter and shimmer.
The two colors that can be applied: one by one, together putting first the dark color first and then the light one, or matching the colors in contrast.
It is long lasting and moisturizing. The only flaw of this great product is the packaging: the design is not very catchy and you must pay attention to remove the cap because the lipstick does not go completely inside.
Available in 8 double colors:
