Sheena Aw, alias Caramelaw, è un’illustratrice e character designer kawaii di giorno e una supereroina a Candyland di notte. Amiamo moltissimo le sue opere la cui felicità è contagiosa e siamo felici di presentare qui la sua intervista.

Sheena Aw, aka Caramelaw, is a kawaii illustrator and character designer by day and a Candyland superhero by night. We really love her works whose happiness is contagious and we’re happy to present her interview here.

Siamo felicissime di dirvi finalmente chi ha vinto il contest di Kastro the Cat! I partecipanti sono stati tutti bravissimi ed eravamo davvero in dubbio su chi scegliere!

Lungo periodo di festeggiamenti per Sanrio! La serie di eventi, iniziata nel 2009 con Three Apples e conclusa nel 2010 con Small Gift, ha portato numerose opere d’arte ispirate ai personaggi: quadri e… toys da collezione!

Long celebration of Sanrio! The series of events, that began with Three Apples in 2009 and ended with Small Gift in 2010, has brought many works of art inspired by the characters: paintings and… collectible toys!

Yuki Onna è uno spirito del folclore giapponese, descritta come una bellissima e alta donna dai lunghi capelli neri, le labbra rosse e dalla pelle estremamente pallida, che trae soddisfazione nel togliere la vita ai viandanti.

Yuki Onna is a spirit of Japanese folklore, described as a beautiful woman with long and black hair, red lips and very pale skin, who gets satisfaction from killing travellers.

Siamo felicissime di augurarvi buon 2011 con un contest con dei premi così coccolosi e kawaii: due bellissimi Kastro the Cat di peluche e una bellissima stampa di un’illustrazione realizzata da Simone Roveda, il papà di Kastro.

Camilla D’Errico is a famous painter, cartoonist and toy designer. Her pictorial style reminds the world of manga and Renaissance portraits. The presence of pets, gears and bright colors fascinates those who watch her works.

La prima volta che abbiamo visto Kastro the Cat è stato colpo di fulmine! Come non innamorarsene? È così kawaii, dolce, morbido, pacifico e… un “Micio Lover” di professione, abituato a rubare i cuori!
