Molti brand si sono lasciati incantare dal film Alice in Wonderland di Tim Burton e hanno dedicato vestiti, accessori, trucchi e toys da collezione. Da marzo 2010 la caccia è aperta per accaparrarsi le edizioni speciali e limitate.

Anche i tatuaggi possono essere kawaii e fashion. Espressione di noi stessi o accessorio moda? Forma di ribellione o standardizzazione? La risposta è entrambi.

Molti film e cortometraggi animati si sono ispirati al libro di Charles Dickens (1812-1870) e ci hanno accompagnato nella nostra vita e soprattutto nei nostri Natali. Vorrei ricordare alcuni film tratti da questo racconto.

Many films and animated shorts were inspired by the book written by Charles Dickens (1812-1870) and accompanied us in our lives and especially in our Christmases. I want to talk about some movies inspired by that story.

Eyeko significa “amore” in giapponese e la grafica si ispira ai manga, è molto colorata e i prodotti e la comunicazione si rivolgono chiaramente ad un target di giovanissime, che cercano dei cosmetici carini, vivaci e che esaltino la loro freschezza.

Eyeko means “love” in Japanese and the graphics are inspired by manga, are colourful and the products and the communication are clearly aimed at teenagers, who are looking for nice and bright cosmetics which can emphasize their freshness.

Il Kawaii Team con Fulvio, settimana scorsa si è recato subito al cinema a vedere Planet 51, film d’animazione prodotto da Ilion Animation Studios, casa produttrice madrilena e dalla britannica HandMade Films.

The Kawaii Team with Fulvio, went straight to the cinema to see Planet 51 last week, the animated movie produced by Ilion Animation Studios from Madrid and the UK HandMade Films.

Quante volte siamo caduti in un maledetto trompe-l’oeil ideato da bravi designer e creativi! Oggetti che non sembrano tali ma lo sono! E per testimoniare che è tutto vero diamo il via alle danze, di esempi!

Mike Stimpson è un fotografo conosciuto con il nickname di “Balakov”, molto popolare tra il popolo di Flickr perchè usa come soggetti i personaggi Lego, ricostruendo ironicamente famose fotografie storiche o reinterpretando Star Wars.

Mike Stimpson is a photographer, known as “Balakov”, who is very popular between people on Flickr, because his subjects are Lego characters and he reenacts famous historic photographies ironically or reinterprets Star Wars.

Uno stand completamente bianco dove volano uccelli d’acciaio che compongono oggetti di luce ed una seduta che ritrae chi vuole inserirsi in questo splendido scenario: CO/EX comunica tranquillità, leggiadria e molto romanticismo. All’interno del Salone Satellite 2009 il design di Kota Nezu e di Kaoru Tsukamoto ha attirato la mia attenzione.
