In her works she builds microcosms inhabited by many creatures that are part of a whole, often forced to coexist, to achieve a common goal.

Her representative model certainly falls within kawaii pop culture, populated by sweet bunnies, bears, chicks, dolphins, clouds and many other little cute creatures.

At first glance you are caught by the tenderness of the characters that make up these groups made of pure kawaii essence, but looking at them more closely we can find the discomfort of overcrowding, the search of their identity, but also the sense of “belonging” deeply rooted in Japanese society.
The sense of “belonging”, the group may be the only way to achieve goals, to be part of a superior project which involves the individual sensibilities that get together and work together to make a better world.
