Ci ha pensato Annapaola Rapacciuolo, la jewelry designer del brand Le Chou Chou che vi abbiamo precedentemente presentato attraverso un’intervista, a tramutare la fiaba in realtà.

Il 13 giugno il Kawaii Team ha incontrato Annapaola all’evento milanese Fashion Camp e in quell’occasione ha potuto ammirare dal vivo le sue golose creazioni e farle una breve video intervista.

On June 13 Kawaii Team met Annapaola at Milan Fashion Camp event and on this occasion we have watched in person her delicious creations and we have made her a short video interview.

Piccole tazzine di ceramica dai colori bianco, rosa e azzurro, che contengono tè creato con la resina che ha perfino l’aggiunta di una fettina di limone, sono adagiate su merletti che sembrano veri pur essendo in materiale impermeabile. Diventano ciondoli, orecchini, bracciali, anelli e spille, spesso impreziositi da filigrane anticate o dipinte a mano.

Small white, light pink and light blue ceramic cups, which contain tea made with resin and a slice of lemon, lay on waterproof laces that seem true. They are pendants, earrings, bracelets, rings and brooches, often embellished with hand painted or antiqued filigree.

Questa è la romantica collezione di Le Chou Chou per la primavera/estate 2010 chiamata Les Madeleines. Il nome e l’ispirazione vengono dal celebre episodio “Du côté de chez Swann” (Dalla parte di Swann o La strada di Swann), contenuto nel primo volume dell’opera “À la recherche du temps perdu” (Alla ricerca del mondo perduto) di Proust, nel quale il narratore mangia una petite madeleine che risveglia in lui dei ricordi della sua infanzia.

This is the romantic spring / summer 2010 Le Chou Chou collection called Les Madeleines. Name and inspiration come from the famous episode “Du côté de chez Swann” (Swann’s Way or The Way by Swann’s), in the first volume of “À la recherche du temps perdu” (In Search of Lost Time) written by Proust, in which the narrator eats a petite madeleine that awakes his childhood memories.

Anche i gioielli Les Madeleines, come quel dolce, fanno tornare al passato: Le Chou Chou ha rispolverato le vecchie tazzine della nonna, che ci riportano alla memoria l’età della nostra innocenza, rendendole attuali e dolcemente retrò.

Like that sweet even Les Madeleines jewels bring back to the past: Le Chou Chou has taken grandmother’s cups, which remind us our innocence, and makes them fashionable and sweetly retrò.
