The Forest Folks è un progetto di due giovani artisti francesi, Zim&Zou (Lucie Thomas e Thibault Zimmermann), realizzato in occasione dell’opening del monomarca Hermès a Dubai nella Mall of the Emirates.

The Forest Folks is a project of two young French Artists, Zim & Zou (Lucie Thomas and Thibault Zimmermann), designed on the occasion of the opening of Hermès boutique in Dubai in the Mall of the Emirates.

Zim&Zou hanno creato un mondo in miniatura dove i piccoli abitanti vivono circondati dalla natura, il regno vegetale è libero di proliferare senza costrizioni creando un legame armonioso e inscindibile con tutte le forme di vita di questo microcosmo.

Zim & Zou created a miniature world where small people live surrounded by nature, the vegetable kingdom is free to grow without constraints building a harmonious and close bond with all life forms of this microcosm.

Zim&Zou non sono nuovi a questo tipo di installazioni, hanno realizzato infatti diversi progetti utilizzando materiali tangibili come tessuti, legno, filati e soprattutto carta, il loro mezzo preferito per la grande varietà che offre di colori, spessori e texture, un materiale che è capace di trasformarsi in pura poesia.

Zim & Zou designed many projects using tangible materials as fabrics, wood, yarns and especially paper, their favourite material for the great range of colors, thickness and texture, it can be turned into pure poetry.
