Ozabu è un’artista giapponese autodidatta, che rappresenta delle magnifiche illustrazioni in grafite ricche di dettagli spesso ispirate dall’estetica e dalla mitologia nipponica.

Ozabu is a Japanese self-taught artist, who draws beautiful illustrations rich in details, often inspired by aesthetics and mythology of her country.

Nelle opere di Ozabu la bellezza è spesso contrapposta alla morte, il concetto classico e ricco di fascino di Eros e Thanatos viene delineato attraverso un tratto leggero e delicato, la fragilità della vita è messa a nudo in tutta la sua crudezza con un’eleganza drammatica e ricercata.

In Ozabu’s works beauty is often colliding with death, the classic and fascinating concept of Eros and Thanatos is outlined through a light and delicate stroke, the fragility of life is laid bare in all its rawness with a dramatic and refined elegance.

Le illustrazioni in bianco e nero vengono arricchite in alcuni casi da dettagli colorati, in altri da particolari dorati e leggermente in rilievo che focalizzano l’attenzione dello spettatore, che segue il prezioso filo del destino come la trama di racconto.

The illustrations in black and white are enhanced in some cases with colors, in others with golden and slightly embossed details that focus the viewer’s attention, following the precious thread of destiny as a story plot.
