Maiko Takeda has been Stephen Jones‘ assistant, who is famous for his original hats and he has inspired her deeply to develope an extreme and innovative style, but where aesthetics is never an end in itself because it is always justified by a story, a project and an emotion.

“Cinematography” collection is not simply composed of fashion accessories, but of artworks in flux, in the light and space.
Shadows are the protagonists, ephemeral and elusive, whose beauty lies in their being immaterial.

Maiko Takeda is fascinated by the new, the changing nature, light and shadows, everything that is not defined, but is constantly evolving, she said in an interview that she is fascinated by the smoke which perhaps will be used in her next project.
We look forward to seeing her next collections, in the meantime we enjoy the beautiful fretworked pieces of “Cinematography”.

Mi inchino davanti a cotanta creatività.
