“Zootropolis”, o “Zootopia” in USA, è il 55° classico Disney diretto da Byron Howard e Rich Moore, che vede come protagonisti esclusivamente gli animali, così come accadde in “Robin Hood” (1973) e in “Chicken Little - Amici per le penne” (2005).
La canzone che traina il film, ‘Try Everything’, è interpretata da Shakira, ovvero Gazelle, il suo alter ego nel film.
Tra i doppiatori originali citiamo Ginnifer Goodwin (Judy Hopps), Jason Bateman (Nick Wilde) e Idris Elba (Direttore Bogo). Per l’Italia Massimo Lopez (Sindaco Leodore Lionheart), Paolo Ruffini (Yax), Nicola Savino (Flash), Frank Matano (Duke Weaselton), Diego Abatantuono (Finnick), Teresa Mannino (Fru Fru) e Leo Gullotta (Mr. Big).
In Italia uscirà nelle sale il 18 febbraio e negli Stati Uniti il 4 marzo, abbiamo visto il film in anteprima ed ecco le nostre impressioni!

‘Zootopia’, or ‘Zootropolis’ in Europe, is the 55th Disney classic directed by Byron Howard and Rich Moore, whose protagonists are only animals, as happened in ‘Robin Hood’ (1973) and ‘Chicken Little’ (2005).
The theme song is ‘Try Everything’, perform by Shakira, or Gazelle, her alter ego in the movie.
Among the original voice actors we can find Ginnifer Goodwin (Judy Hopps), Jason Bateman (Nick Wilde) and Idris Elba (Chief Bogo). In the Italian version Massimo Lopez (Mayor Leodore), Paolo Ruffini (Yax) Nicola Savino (Flash), Frank Matano (Duke Weaselton), Diego Abatantuono (Finnick), Teresa Mannino (Fru Fru) and Leo Gullotta (Mr. Big).
In Italy it is going to be released on February 18 and in the US on March 4, we have just watch the movie première and here are our comments!

Trama / Plot

Zootropolis è una città con diversi habitat dove coesistono pacificamente tantissime specie di mammiferi, predatori e prede, guidati dal sindaco Leodore Lionheart il cui motto è: “a Zootropolis chiunque può essere ciò che vuole”.
Per afferrare tutte le opportunità che la grande città offre, si trasferisce al Dipartimento di Polizia la dolce e determinata coniglietta Judy Hopps, che dovrà dimostrare ai suoi enormi colleghi che la stazza non è tutto, collaborando nella risoluzione di un caso anche con la volpe Nick Wilde, suo predatore nella natura selvaggia.

Zootopia, is a city with different habitats where many species of mammals, predators and prey, coexist peacefully, led by Mayor Leodore Lionheart, whose motto is: “In Zootopia, anyone can be anything”.
To grasp all the opportunities that a big city offers, Judy Hopps, a sweet and determined bunny, moves to Zootopia Police Department, she has to prove to her huge colleagues that the size is not everything, working to solve a case with the fox Nick Wilde, her predator in the wild.

Commento / Review
Zootropolis ha due anime: una divertente e spiritosa fatta di gag irresistibili e una che riesce a trattare con semplicità e leggerezza temi difficili e impegnati.
Il barcollante equilibrio tra integrazione e discriminazione fa sicuramente da substrato nello svolgersi degli eventi, rappresentato da gioco delle dicotomie che coinvolge predatore e preda, una lotta non solo di dimensioni, ma anche di astuzia.
Spettacolari i paesaggi della meravigliosa Zootropolis, città che accoglie diversi meravigliosi habitat per ospitare tutti i mammiferi.
Non perdetevelo!

Zootopia has two sides: a funny and witty one made of irresistible gags and one that deals with difficult issues in a simple and light way.
The unstable balance between integration and discrimination is surely a substrate in the story, represented by the dichotomies game involving predator and prey, a struggle not only in size, but also in brain.
The landscapes of the wonderful Zootropolis are spectacular, the beautiful city populated by different habitats to welcome all mammals.
