“Beauty In The Breakdown” è la mostra alla Thinkspace Gallery, aperta dal 28 febbraio, che unisce due talenti canadesi, Camilla d’Errico e Sara Joncas, che avevano già esposto insieme circa 10 anni fa.

“Beauty In The Breakdown” is the show at the Thinkspace Gallery on display from February 28, joining two Canadian talents, Camilla d’Errico and Sarah Joncas, who had already exhibited together about 10 years ago.

Camilla d’Errico presenta le sue eroine multicolore in immaginari fantasy dove non c’è limite a quello che gli occhi possono vedere, sono anime tempestose circondate da farfalle, con il cuore di miele, unicorni di frutta e che celano pappagallini imprigionati nel loro petto.
Lo stile di Camilla si ispira ai manga, proponendo delle tematiche visionarie surrealiste che hanno stregato già moltissime case editrici come la Dark Horse Comics, Image Comics, Random House, Tokyopop, Hasbro, Disney, Sanrio, Neil Gaiman.

Camilla d’Errico presents her multicolored heroines in fantasy imaginary where there is no limit to what the eyes can see, they are stormy souls surrounded by butterflies, with honey heart, fruit unicorns and they can hide budgies in their chest.
Camilla’s style is inspired by manga, proposing visionary surrealist themes that have already fascinated many publishers such as Dark Horse Comics, Image Comics, Random House, Tokyopop, Hasbro, Disney, Sanrio, Neil Gaiman.

Sarah Joncas ambienta le sue opere nel mondo reale, ma inserisce degli elementi e crea delle situazioni che fanno intuire a un territorio sommerso spirituale.
Nei suoi quadri spesso troviamo degli elementi tecnologici e simbolismi dell’era moderna presentati anche con valenze conflittuali.

Sarah Joncas sets her works in the real world, but she adds elements and creates situations that make sense a hidden spiritual land.
In her paintings often we can find technological elements and symbolism of the modern era also creating conflicts in the environment.
