Insieme a TNS abbiamo fatto un viaggio da favola a Wattens, in Austria, nel cuore dell’azienda Swarovski per conoscere la sua storica sede, il sito produttivo e i suoi favolosi Mondi di Cristallo, i Kristallwelten.

Together with TNS we had a fabulous trip to Wattens, Austria, in the heart of the Swarovski company to discover the historic headquarters, the production site and the fabulous Crystal Worlds, the Kristallwelten.

Jiaran Studio di Pechino prende il nome dalla sua fondatrice, una maga nell’arte del ricamo che lavora su diverse superfici, dagli accessori tradizionali cinesi agli abiti da sposa fino all’alta moda.

Jiaran Studio in Beijing takes its name from her founder, a brilliant embroiderer that works on different materials, from traditional Chinese accessories to wedding dresses and haute couture dresses.

Sakae è un’artista giapponese che realizza dei meravigliosi kanzashi, degli intricati accessori tradizionali per capelli utilizzati per ingentilire le pettinature raccolte, realizzati con filo metallico e resina sintetica liquida con la tecnica “dip flower”.

Sakae is a Japanese artist who creates wonderful kanzashi, the intricate traditional headpieces used to decorate hair, made with wire e liquid synthetic resin using the “dip flower” technique.

Quando Frida Kahlo è morta nel 1954, il marito Diego Rivera custodì i suoi effetti personali sigillati nel bagno della loro casa a Mexico City, aperto nel 2004. A fotografare gli oggetti appartenuti all’artista è stata chiamata nel 2013 Miyako Ishiuchi.

When Frida Kahlo died in 1954, her husband Diego Rivera placed her personal belongings into the bathroom of their home that was opened in 2004. Miyako Ishiuchi was choose to photograph the personal effects of the artist in 2013.

For the first time the United States will house a retrospective about our favorite kitten-girl, Miss Kitty White, aka Hello Kitty, on the occasion of her 40th birthday, at the JANM in Los Angeles. The exhibition will be open from October 11 to April 26, 2015.
