Ecco la seconda parte sul 1° CND Fashion Manicure Blogger Workshop del 3 dicembre scorso nella sede modenese di Ladybird House.
Qui parleremo di come fare una perfetta fashion manicure con i prodotti Colour & Effects e del famosissimo Shellac.

• Colour & Effects Fashion Manicuretop↑

Il procedimento per ottenere un manicure perfetta su unghia naturale, utilizzando i versatili smalti Colour & Effects, dove combinando Colour e Effects con diverse finiture si possono ottenere infinite possibilità.

1 ♥ Igienizzare le mani
Utilizzare un prodotto detergente, ma mai tenere le mani a bagno prima della manicure, perchè le unghie restano umide anche se asciugate accuratamente e possono causare problemi di adesione con gli smalti.
CND consiglia Cool Blue®.
2 ♥ Spingere le cuticole e rimuovere l’ipercheratosi
Con l’ausilio di un bastoncino d’arancio, spingere le cuticole in eccesso e, sfregandolo sull’unghia in senso verticale, rimuovere l’ipercheratosi (ispessimento della lamina).
CND consiglia Cuticle Away (solo ad uso professionale).
3 ♥ Purificare la lamina ungueale
CND consiglia Scrubfresh®.
4 ♥ Limare
Tenere la lima all’estremità per mantenere la sua elasticità e sfregare non troppo rapidamente (altrimenti l’unghia presenterà sfaldature). La scelta della lima è molto importante: quelle metalliche sono poco elastiche e quelle di cartone sono troppo abrasive.
5 ♥ Idratare
CND consiglia di passare il SolarOil™ su tutta l’unghia e sulle cuticole ogni giorno. Sono piccole molecole che entrano in profondità, nutrono e idratano l’unghia con un’azione anti-età, con un dolce profumo di mandorla. È uno dei nostri prodotti preferiti!
6 ♥ Rimuovere l’oleosità
CND consiglia Scrubfresh®.
7 ♥ Passare il Base Coat
Fare una passata di base su tutta l’unghia e sulla punta per sigillare ed avere una manicure più duratura. Importante: lo smalto trasparente non è necessariamente una base!
CND consiglia: Stickey™ (per unghie senza particolari problemi), Toughen™ (rinforzante per unghie sottili o danneggiate) o Ridge Out™ (livellante per unghie con solchi sulla lamina).
8 ♥ Passare il Colour
Fare due passate di smalto facendo strati sottili, di cui la seconda correttiva.
In base alla forma dell’unghia, scegliere la larghezza del corridoio da lasciare ai bordi dell’unghia, in modo tale da apportare miglioramento ottico alla forma dell’unghia.
Terminata la prima passata, si può procedere subito alla seconda. Se invece il periodo di asciugatura è maggiore, è meglio attendere.
Gli smalti Colour di CND sono disponibili in oltre 50 diverse tonalità.
9 ♥ Passare l’Effects
Fare una passata uniforme su tutta l’unghia oppure utilizzare come decoro. Per esempio si possono fare delle strisce oppure creare una french manicure: si ottiene un risultato originale senza necessariamente essere delle professioniste!
Gli Effects sono 15 e si dividono in 3 categorie: Pearls, Shimmers e Sparkle.
10 ♥ Passare il Top Coat
Fare una passata di top coat per proteggere la manicure e conservarla intatta più a lungo.
CND consiglia: Super Shiney™ (finitura lucida ad l’effetto gloss), Super Matte (finitura opaca), Air Dry (asciugatura rapida e azione anti-ingiallimento) o Speedy™ (asciugatura rapida).

The steps to get a perfect manicure on natural nails, using the versatile Colour & Effects nail polish, where combining Colour and Effects with different finishes, you can get endless possibilities.

1 ♥ Sanitizing the hands
Use a cleaning product, but never keep the hands in the water before the manicure, because even if you dry them, the nails are clammy and there could be adhesion problem of the nail polish.
CND recommends Cool Blue®.
2 ♥ Pulling the cuticles back and removing hyperkeratosis
Pull the cuticles back using an orange stick and gently rub it vertically on the nail to remove hyperkeratosis (thickening of nail plate).
CND suggest Cuticle Away (only for professional use).
3 ♥ Purifying the nail plate
CND suggest Scrubfresh®.
4 ♥ Filing
Hold the file in the base to keep its elasticity and do not file too quickly (otherwise the nail will flake). Choosing the file is very important: the metal files aren’t very elastic and the paper ones are too abrasive.
5 ♥ Moisturizing
CND recommends to apply SolarOil™ on all the nail and on the cuticles every day. It contains small molecules that seep into the nail deeply, nourish and moisturize with an anti-aging action, it has a sweet scent of almond. It’s one of our favourite nail product!
6 ♥ Removing the oily
CND suggest Scrubfresh®.
7 ♥ Base Coat
Apply the base on the entire nail and on the tip to seal the nail polish and to have a long lasting manicure. Important: a clear nail polish is not necessarily a base coat!
CND recommends: Stickey™ (for nails without problems), Toughen™ (to strengthen thin or damaged nails) or Ridge Out™ (leveling nails which have grooves on the nail plate).
8 ♥ Applying the Colour
Apply two thin coats of nail polish, the second one is corrective.
According to the shape of the nail, choose the width of the space around the nail, in order to improve optically the shape of the nail.
After the first coat, you can immediately apply to the second. If it needs more time to dry, just wait a bit.
CND Colour nail polish are available in over 50 different shades.
9 ♥ Applying the Effects
Apply the Effect on all the nail or use it as decoration. For example, you can make stripes or create a French manicure: you will get original results without being professional!
The Effects are 15 and are divided into 3 categories: Pearls, Shimmers e Sparkle.
10 ♥ Applying the Top Coat
Apply the top coat to protect nail polish and to make it last longer.
CND recommends: Super Shiney™ (glossy finish), Super Matte (matte finish), Air Dry (quick-drying and anti-yellowing) or Speedy™ (quick-drying).

• Shellac Long Lasting & Perfect Manicuretop↑

Shellac™ è un sistema innovativo per manicure UV, che sfrutta una nuova tecnologia, brevettata da CND, detta UV3, si mette come uno smalto, resiste come un gel ma si rimuove in pochi minuti.
Per applicare e rimuovere Shellac non è necessaria nessuna limatura sulla superficie delle unghie naturali, non contiene formaldeide, DBP e toluene.

Shellac™ is an innovative UV system for manicure, which uses the new UV3 technology patented by CND, it is just like a regual nail polish, but it lasts like a gel and it can be removed quickly.
Shellac doesn’t need any filing to be applied or removed, it doesn’t contain formaldehyde, DBP and toluene.

Shellac si applica in 30 minuti:
1 ♥ Applicare CND Shellac UV Base Coat. Asciugare in CND UV Lamp 10 secondi
2 ♥ Applicare il primo colore di CND Shellac. Asciugare in CND UV Lamp per 2 minuti.
3 ♥ Applicare una seconda mando di colore CND Shellac o un altro colore (con la tecnica del layering, ovvero due colori sovrapposti, si possono ottenere moltissimi colori in più). Asciugare in CND UV Lamp per 2 minuti.
4 ♥ Applicare CND Shellac UV Top Coat. Asciugare in CND UV Lamp 2 minuti.
5 ♥ Rimuovere lo strato appiccicoso con WipeOff Ladybird house.

Shellac is applied in 30 minutes:
1 ♥ Apply CND Shellac UV Base Coat. Dry in CND UV Lamp for 10 seconds.
2 ♥ Apply the first CND Shellac color. Dry in CND UV Lamp for 2 minutes.
3 ♥ Apply a second coat of CND Shellac color or another color (you can get many other colors thanks to the technique of layering). Dry in CND UV Lamp for 2 minutes.
4 ♥ Apply CND Shellac UV Top Coat. Dry in CND UV Lamp for 2 minutes.
5 ♥ Remove the sticky inhibition layer with WipeOff.

Shellac™ va applicato nei centri estetici. Laura ha provato Shellac nel colore Masquerade durante il Workshop a Modena, lo smalto è rimasto lucido e perfetto per due settimane ed è stato rimosso poi in uno dei numerosi centri estetici che trattano Shellac, in particolare Laura è stata da Milano Estetica Due in corso Venezia 3, l’operazione è stata assolutamente non invasiva e velocissima (20 minuti massimo), e lo staff è stato gentilissimo.
Da Estetica Due l’applicazione di Shellac costa 20€ e la rimozione 15€.

Shellac™ should be applied in the beauty salons. Laura tried Shellac Masquerade during the Workshop in Modena, the nail polish has been glossy and perfect for two weeks and it was removed in one of the many Shellac beauty salons, in particular Laura went to Milano Estetica Due, in corso Venezia 3 (Milan), the process was completely non-invasive and very quick (20 minutes at the latest), and the staff was very kind.
