Miles Aldridge, quotato fotografo di moda britannico noto per il suo stile retrò e utra saturo, ha realizzato uno shooting per TIME magazine, dove i protagonisti sono gli attori principali de “Il Trono di Spade”, serie cult di HBO che tra pochi giorni trasmetterà la settima stagione.

Miles Aldridge, world renowned British fashion photographer known for his retro and over-saturated style, made a photo shoot for TIME magazine, where the protagonists are the main actors of ‘Game of Thrones’ HBO’s cult series, which in a few days will broadcast the seventh season.

Per realizzare questi scatti Miles Aldridge si è ispirato alle opere di Lucas Cranach e Albrecht Dürer, che ricordano le atmosfere medioevali della serie, il goal è stato quello di reinterpretare le luci e il set in chiave moderna senza perdere la drammaticità e lo spirito dark dello show.

Miles Aldridge was inspired by the works of Lucas Cranach and Albrecht Dürer, recalling the medieval atmospheres of the series, the goal was to reinterpret both lighting and set design in a modern way without losing the drama and the dark spirit of show.

I vestiti medioevali sono stati rivisti in chiave supercolorata e vintage, accompagnati da elementi allegorici e pesanti drappi di velluto alle loro spalle, il cui colore è lo stesso della luce che dona interessanti riflessi ai capelli e ai contorni del viso.

The medieval clothes were revised in a over-colored and vintage style, mixed with allegorical props and heavy velvet backgrounds behind them, whose color is the same of the light that gives interesting higlights to the hair and contours of the face.
