Il 25 ottobre abbiamo partecipato ad un evento esclusivo MAC Technique durante il quale abbiamo riprodotto, insieme ai makeup artist MAC Cosmetics (Agostina, Alberto e Paola), uno dei trend della stagione AW13: Reb-elle, che trae ispirazione dagli anni 90 col loro sapore grunge e punk.

On October 25, we attended an exclusive MAC Technique event during which MAC Cosmetics makeup artists (Agostina, Alberto and Paola) taught us one of the AW13 trends: Reb-elle, inspired by the 90’s, punk and grunge.

Il focus è sugli occhi: uno smoky eyes nero intenso, enfatizzato da riflessi blu metallizzato o argento che rendono il look moderno. Matita nera applicata dentro e fuori la rima inferiore e sfumata sotto l’occhio per un effetto “bad girl”. Le ciglia incurvate e cariche di mascara nero.
Abbiamo utilizzato la palette MAC Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow in Bleuluxe, in particolar modo il nero e la nuance violetta intermedia con microglitter, entrambi ombretti molto pigmentati e facilmente sfumabili.

The focus is on the eyes: an intense black smokey eye makeup, enhanced with metallic blue or silver highlights for a modern twist. Black eye pencil blended in the upper and lower lash line and in the water line for a “bad girl” look. The eyelashes are curled and full of black mascara .
We applied MAC Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow palette in Bleuluxe, especially the black and the purple microglitter shades, both very pigmented and easy to blend.

L’incarnato è perfetto e uniforme, con guance scolpite.
Il fondotinta che il team MAC Cosmetics ci ha consigliato è stato Mineralize Moisture Foundation: una combinazione di polveri che crea un effetto ottico di sfocatura che riduce imperfezioni e rughe sottili, per un effetto pelle molto luminoso.

The complexion is perfect and even, with sculpted cheeks.
MAC Cosmetics team recommended us Mineralize Moisture Foundation: a combination of powder that creates an effect of optical blur that reduces imperfections and fine lines and the skin looks very bright.

© MAC Cosmetics Lipstick | Candy Yum-Yum, Diva

La tendenza Reb-elle richiede labbra nude, ma, di fronte alle numerose tonalità di rossetti MAC Cosmetics non abbiamo saputo resistere e ognuna di noi ha optato per il colore che più la rappresentava.
Angela ha scelto Candy Yum-Yum, un rossetto matt fucsia non proprio da cattiva ragazza, mentre Laura Diva un intenso rosso scuro matt.

Reb-elle trend requires nude lips, but there were a lot of beautiful MAC Cosmetics lipsticks, so we chose our favourite color.
Angela chose Candy Yum-Yum, a matt fuchsia lipstick, that is not really for bad girl, while Laura Diva, an intense matt dark red.
