Nel suo ultimo video “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart”, che lancia l’album “The Elements of Freedom”, Alicia Keys è una super-eroina con il dono di infondere la vita a chi l’ha perduta. Il risvolto della medaglia però è terribile: il suo potere si trasforma in un’arma letale con i suoi affetti.
Alicia Keys in questo video veste provocanti tutine aderenti, degne delle più procaci eroine dei fumetti, rivisitate in chiave fashion e vintage grazie agli occhiali da sole della linea Carrera Vintage, scelti anche da Lady Gaga in Bad Romance e Britney Spears in “3″, e anche in questo caso ispirati agli anni ‘80.

In her latest video “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart”, which launches the album “The Elements of Freedom”, Alicia Keys is a super-heroine with the gift to give life to those who have lost it. The downside, however, is terrible: her power is a lethal weapon against her loved ones.
Alicia Keys in this video wears provocative tight leotards, as the most seductive cartoon heroines, revisited in a fashion and vintage way thanks to the sunglasses Carrera Vintage, chosen by Lady Gaga in her video Bad Romance and Britney Spears in “3″ too, and even in this case inspired by the 80s.

Raperonzolo / Rapunzel - Disney

Un’altra eroina si aggiunge al già ricco carnet di Disney, Raperonzolo, che uscirà nelle sale a Natale 2010.
La grafica sarà un misto tra la classica animazione 2D e la più moderna 3D e l’effetto sarà quello di un dipinto ad olio.
Si dice che la storia seguirà la fiaba originale dei fratelli Grimm e Raperonzolo sarà una principessa moderna e autonoma, che si discosterà dalle prime eroine Disney che aspettavano fiduciose il principe azzurro.

Another heroine is going to be added to the rich carnet of Disney, Rapunzel, which will be release in cinemas at Christmas 2010.
The graphics will be a mix between the classic 2D animation and the latest 3D and the effect will be like a oil painting.
It is said that the plot will be similar to the original Brothers Grimm’s fairy tale and Rapunzel  will be a modern and independent princess, who distances herself from the early Disney heroines who were waiting for Prince Charming with confidence.

Barbie - Black Canary, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl Barbie

Anche Barbie ha voluto cavalcare questo trend con l’uscita di quattro SuperDolls in collaborazione con DC Comics: le classiche Batgirl Barbie, Supergirl Barbie e Wonder Woman Barbie e la meno nota al grande pubblico, ma più discussa Black Canary Barbie. Quest’ultima ha sollevato un vespaio di polemiche per il suo abbigliamento esplicitamente sexy e aggressivo, ma ne è valsa la pena perchè il risultato è davvero originale ed esce dal clichè della fidanzatina bionda e perfetta.

Chi considerava super-eroine Carrie, Samantha, Charlot e Miranda di Sex and the City sarà felice di rivedere riproposta la stessa atmosfera nella mini-serie Marvel Divas, sceneggiata da Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa e disegnata da Tonci Zonjic.
Pubblicata nel 2009, vede come protagoniste quattro superoine della Marvel, Firestar (Angelica Jones), Black Cat (Felicia Hardy), Hellcat (Patsy Walker) e Photon (Monica Rambeau) alle prese con la vita di tutti i giorni come donne single.
Probabilmente l’uscita di questa serie è stata dettata dal desiderio di avvicinare il pubblico femminile, più propenso agli shōjo manga giapponesi, ai fumetti made in USA, ma a giudicare dalla meravigiosa copertina, disegnata da J. Scott Campbell, forse questo obiettivo non è stato centrato.

Who thought that Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlot in Sex and the City were super-heroines, will be happy to see again the same atmosphere in the mini-series Marvel Divas, written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and designed by Tonci Zonjic.

Probably the release of this series was motivated by the desire to increase the female audience more inclined to the Japanese Shojo manga than the comic made in the USA, but judging by the marvelous cover, designed by J. Scott Campbell, perhaps this objective has not been hit.

Ma queste non sono certo le uniche nuove eroine di casa Marvel.
In occasione dell’uscita del primo volume di Strange Tales, serie di comics di 3 volumi pubblicata dal settembre 2009 e caratterizzata dalla reinterpretazione degli eroi Marvel per mano dei più famosi fumettisti del momento, Junko Mizuno ha saputo leggere in chiave kawaii gothic la figura di Spider-Man.
In Spider-Man & Mary Jane, la storia è ambientate in una città abitata da spider-men dove Spider-Man non è più l’unico eroe. Mary Jane cercherà di confortarlo con la sua stravaganza e proprio lei è la nuova eroina: pur non avendo poteri è lei la donna più speciale.

On the occasion of the first volume of Strange Tales comics series of 3 volumes published from September 2009 and characterized by the reinterpretation of the Marvel heroes by the most famous cartoonists of the moment, Junko Mizuno gave a gothic kawaii style to Spider-Man.
Spider-Man & Mary Jane is a story set in a city inhabited by spider-men, where Spider-Man is no longer the only hero. Mary Jane tries to comfort him with her extravagance and she is the new heroine: even if she has not any power she is the most special woman.
